Our stay at the Mount Nevis Hotel was amazing,

We stayed for 3 nights here at the Calypso Hotel in mid May. It being the end of the tourist season, there were only about 2 other guests at the hotel. The hotel is on the exact opposite side of the island from Charlestown, so it was extremely quiet and peaceful, while still only being a 20 minute drive at most to get to places like charlestown and Pinney’s beach. We were greeted and welcomed by the owner (Leo, I believe). He was extremely hospitable and always available to help and bring us whatever we needed. All the rooms have a large back porch that give a great view of the Atlantic. The rooms are immaculately clean, especially the bathrooms. The shower is different than what we are used to: basically the entire bathroom doubles at the shower with a floor drain set back behind the toilet. Again, different but it worked just fine for us. The rooms are of a good size, with a minimalist/modern design. A/C works great, fast wifi. The only downside we noticed while there is that the walls are quite thin, so noise from adjacent guests may be audible in the room. But the hotel does have rules about noise in the evening, and staff will make sure that all guests are taken care of and able to enjoy their stay. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Calypso, and would definitely return to stay again if we ever make our way back to Nevis in the future.

This was a beautiful property that had a wonderful pool area and very friendly staff. Perfect for a low-key rejuvenating holiday. It was a wonderful experience and I would go back in a heartbeat.

We spent 3 weeks at Nevis Palm. Loved the house and pool. Easy stroll down to the beach. The hosts were very attentive to all of our needs. Nevis has maintained its Carribean authenticity. It has great beaches, grocery stores, restaurants and most of all friendly people. We will back next year for sure.
