There's just 1 hotel within 10 kilometres of central Paracombe, so you'll need to move faster than a kid chasing an ice cream truck if you want to stay close by.
There's nothing quite like an incredible night's sleep (and a few sleep ins) at Sfera's Park Suites & Convention Centre. This hotel is as central as you'll get in Paracombe.
Although it's 15 kilometres outside of the central streets, Mawson Lakes is definitely worth thinking about. It's got 2 accommodation options to choose from, including the Quest Mawson Lakes and Mawson Lakes Hotel & Function Centre.
Looking for more options? The Adelaide Heritage Cottages & Apartments is located 17 kilometres away from the main central area, and the Buxton Manor is 18 kilometres away. If those ones aren't your cup of tea, you might prefer to go with the Barossa Shiraz Estate or the Seawall Apartments.
If you want to squeeze more out of your break, venture into the wider South Australia region and check out its gorgeous beaches and rolling hills. There’s no shortage of fabulous activities to dive into here either, including hiking, four-wheel driving and shore fishing. Or just pull out your map, pick a place and see where your feet take you!
Looking for things to do? Spend a few hours visiting the Tea Tree Plaza and the Bird in Hand Winery. You'll find them in Northfield, 13 kilometres to the west of Paracombe. Northfield hotels and accommodations include the Comfort Inn Manhattan and Comfort Inn & Suites Sombrero. 14 kilometres to the southwest of Paracombe you can also stay at Royston Park, which is home to the Peppers Waymouth Hotel and Mantra Hindmarsh Square. The Sinclair's Gully and Thorndon Park are up there with the most popular sites to experience for those visiting Royston Park.
Sitting 40 kilometres northeast of Paracombe is Tanunda, a regional hub with a population of 5,000. It's home to some awesome attractions, like Mengler Hill Lookout, the Bethany Wines and Barossa Bowland. Why not also stop by and check out Maggie Beer's Farm Shop and Kaiser Stuhl Conservation Park? There are numerous great hotels where you can hit the hay for a night or two in Tanunda. Have a squiz at the facilities at the Barossa Weintal Hotel Complex and Barossa Motor Lodge.
Hopped on the last flight to Paracombe? Absolutely beat? Then it's probably a sensible idea to find somewhere to stay close to the airport. The Lockleys Hotel and the Aviators Lodge Motel aren't far from Adelaide Airport, 25 kilometres from the centre of town.
