Inflexible Date Change/Cancelation Policy

My business trip dates changed due to my boss's schedule and the hotel was non-responsive in allowing me to change my dates even though I contacted them about it a week in advance. I ended up paying for the entire stay even though I wasn't staying there. This is no way to take care of guests.

Hotel is old, but staff is extremely nice. The location is very good. Breakfast is very good, recommended. Small swimming pool and a private estuary.

We stayed at the Sheraton for 4 nights - good location on the Corniche, rooms are an okay size but city view would not recommend if you're planning to stay in hotel. Pools are great, housekeeping brilliant also and overall OK value for money. However, food options and service from restaurant staff lets this 5* hotel down - we were left waiting for over an hour and a half for my young daughters food at B Lounge because they got the order wrong. Service at La Bistrot also not good. Better communication is needed.

I had high expectations for the Sheraton Corniche, but unfortunately, the stay fell short. The upkeep of the room was low quality—our refrigerator didn’t work, and despite calling maintenance, they came but didn’t fix it. The steam room was also out of order, which was frustrating. On the positive side, the gym facilities were well maintained, and the pool and beach area were nice. However, the view was marred by a dusty, abandoned high-rise nearby. Another downside was the location—all nearby restaurants were at least a 15-minute walk away. The breakfast was the highlight, with many delicious options and excellent, kind service. Still, the overall experience didn’t justify the price, and the lack of attention to room maintenance was disappointing.
