This marks my third stay at the Skylight Hotel, each occasion coinciding with layovers on Ethiopian Airlines flights. The airline typically provides accommodations in business class for their passengers. Economy class passengers, such as myself, frequently receive complimentary upgrades or are offered upgrades at a nominal cost, as was the case on this trip. The hotel consistently delivers top-tier accommodations; no further comment is necessary. However, a significant disparity exists in the quality of service provided across the hotel chain.

I absolutely love staying at Skylight Hotel! Even during layovers, I choose to stay there at my own expense because the level of service, comfort, and luxury is simply unmatched.

Overall very good
This is overall an excellent hotel, near to the airport and easy accessibility to the city. There is a wide food selection. The breakfast selection is actually impressive in terms of range, quality and service. There is local food, western and even a wide fruits and cheese selection well housed in a fridge. Room service was not so good - wings are warm but chips r cold; added chicken to the Caesar salad but chicken was so dry; ordered the chicken and a portion of rice - in the end the chicken had rice on the side so I I had too much. Person on the call taking the order could have informed. Check in requires improvement too - I am here for almost two weeks - I did inform clearly on the reservations - every time they said they would link the reservation, my room key does not work so I have to keep calling them. Then it is done again. The rooms are large and clean with good AC , shower and bath tub. Still a great choice but needs improvements on the areas with repeated service gaps.
