The staff are friendly. The property is safe and clean. It is good value for the money. Concerning the VIP amenities, it was not offered upon my arrival, but the day after. I was offered a room upgrade for the second night, but I had only booked the second night because I had an evening flight, so I did utilize the upgrade.

In dark side street but close to main road. Friendly hotel with bar and OK breakfast. Rooms old fashioned and a little damp feeling (in the rainy season) and some noise issues, but mostly a tranquil shelter in a lively and potentially chaotic-feeling city. Close to airport and excellent free pickup and dropoff.

The Lobelia was a great choice. They provided breakfast every day, picked me up from the airport, and took me back. It is close to the airport and has everything you need nearby. Shops, restaurants, and transportation are all within walking distance. My room was very large with good Wi-Fi. I would return again if I travel to Addis Ababa. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The staff is super nice. But they didn’t give me the free beverage that is listed. Hotel is old and could use some updating. There is no AC, so keep that in mind as Addis can be quite hot. The hotel is close to main road but in back, so it is quiet. Convenient as close to airport
