Really enjoyed my stay here. My 3rd floor room was huge and with an excellent view of the lake. The gardens are immaculately kept and daily breakfast was delicious. Very easy walk to the main areas of town and convenient to everything. Would definitely return.

Need to go to front desk for Iron and ironing board. No blowdryer in rooms. Still, the place the is beautiful and the property is scenic. The restaurant is popular with licals and guests. The rooms are rustic and clean. Enclosed free parking.

The property is old but well maintained. Staff were a bit too serious and seemed tired at times. Yet it’s a worthwhile stay. The restaurant in the property is beautiful. Glad that wifi was excellent and that the hotel was within walking distance of the pier area of the lake. We will go back.

Lovely views from this historic property!

Enjoyable 3rd stay here with delicious breakfast, good service and comfortable accommodations. Especially enjoyed mountain views and comfort up on the mirador.

The Nueva Posada is bar none the most beautiful hotel in Ajjic . Most of the staff and waiters have worked at this hotel for many years - and that says a lot. Everyone seems happy to be working. There or visiting there . It is a stunning property from its imported pink marble bathroom sinks to its dining room table tops. The beautiful plants both inside the hotel and outside mingle with priceless Mexican antiques and Folk Art. Book a room on the 3rd floor with a terrace. The beautiful view of Lake Chapala and the charming white table and chairs with an abundance of flowering plants, is well worth it,

Great location and nice grounds, but signs of neglect and deferred maintenance everywhere. Many of the staff are indifferent. Ajijic is not known for great hotels but this one is exceptionally poor.

This property has the classic old Mexican charm and architectural elements with up to date amenities. Nice shower nice free breakfast most desk personnel were cordial one was not. Most waitstaff were professional one was not. I would go again lovely view of the lake as well.

Great little gem in Ajijic!

This is a great little hotel adjacent Lake Chapala, hence a magnificent view of the lake. The staff is very friendly and accommodating yet professional. The complementary breakfast is also very good.
