Worst hotel experience ever!!!
Our stay at the Akron Radisson was an absolute disaster. Traveling with young children is hard enough, but this hotel made it nearly impossible. From start to finish, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and downright unsafe.
Upon arrival, we were given a room key and expected to settle in quickly. Instead, we found the room full of maintenance equipment—ladders, paint cans, and exposed wiring. This wasn’t just inconvenient; it was a safety hazard for my children. When I went to the front desk, they offered only a halfhearted apology and gave us a key to another room.
I assumed the second room would be an improvement. I was wrong. The moment we opened the door, we were hit with the overwhelming smell of marijuana. To my horror, there was someone inside smoking pot, completely unfazed by our arrival. My young children were standing right there, witnessing this absurd scene.
Back at the front desk, the staff mumbled something about “mix-ups” and suggested we wait while they sorted it out. By then, I’d had enough. We gathered our things and left, even though it was late, and my kids were exhausted.
This hotel’s complete lack of safety, organization, and professionalism is shocking. Assigning us to a room filled with hazardous equipment was bad enough, but the second incident was beyond belief. How does a hotel fail this badly at basic guest care?
Families should avoid this hotel at all costs. It’s not just about bad service; it’s about safety and accountability.
