This renovated motel is certainly unique and a good reflection of the area. It was clean, up to date and great artwork every where. Pool was very clean and sparkling. As a note if you are going to White Sands they have tobogans you can borrow but you have to ask they didn't offer when we said we were going but I found out later.

Nice Hotel but Not a Ten
We read a lot of reviews on this hotel before we booked and while the hotel is fine, it certainly was not a ten. First, the positives. The check in was excellent, the lady at the front desk, I believe Jackie, was fun, gave good details and made us feel at home. The pool was nice, clean and in good shape. The room was fine, smaller, but that's what you get for roadside motels/hotels. The bathroom was clean and had the regular supplies you would expect. This room had a spa tub and it worked well, the water was hot and the tub was clean. The negatives. The room smelled of mildew. And yes, they know it. There was a damp-rid on the shelf, filled with at least 4-5" of water. Should have been replaced a while ago. The bed was soft; really soft. The curtain rod was broken, had to use our portable laundry line to pin it together. There were small push pins in the curtain that someone had used to try and keep the curtain up. The furniture, overall, was old and worn. Now, please understand, this is not a bad place for a quick stay, however, it's not a 9-10, more like a 6-7. If I were in the area again, I'd pick something different. Plenty of choices.

This place is uncomfortable, the bed is too high, I'm 6'4 and had to climb into the bed, furniture is old and uncomfortable, faucet in the tub is not working properly it leaks, curtain draw strings didn't work.

The hotel is dotted with stunning murals painted by the artist, Pablo. That was the highlight of our stay! The beds and pillows were not comfortable but the room was sufficient for our overnight stay.

The hotel is dated but really nice. Lots of southwest art. Nice hot breakfast included. Very friendly staff. Im sure there are more modern hotels in the area but this was a nice departure from chain hotels. Only complaints was the condition of the screen in the bathroom allowed flies into the room.And the shampoo and shower gel containers were empty.

Went out for a football game and stayed one night. It was a nice place, very clean and convenient to the area. The best part was the staff and breakfast . The beds were comfortable but the air conditioning didn’t work too well The bathrooms could use some upgrades. I would stay again and definitely recommend!!

Whenever I come to town this is the place to go. The beds are always comfortable, and rooms are clean. The price is perfect for my budget. The breakfast is great.
