Motel is close to I-90, but our room was filthy and it’s obvious that no one has cleaned under the beds for quite some time. I chose the hotel because it was cat friendly which is great. But extricating the cat from the hotel room it is typically necessary for me to look under the bed because cats like to hide when they know their human subjects are leaving she had gotten inside of the box spring which had a large gaping hole so my job was to coax her out. I got a flashlight beamed it under the two double beds in my room. There were abandoned food wrappers Styrofoam cups and other things that I couldn’t even recognise it was littered under those beds and the only thing that blocked it from view was a dusk ruffle that went around the base of the bed but it was filthy and and I felt gross because I’d walked barefoot on the carpeting. The front door to the room didn’t latch properly and when I arrived at the room the front door was wide open anyone could’ve gone in there and but I finally figured out you know how to shut it and slam it so that it would actually catch and then thirdly I didn’t sleep at all. They were doing some kind of construction in the hotel and all night long it sounded like they were you know drilling and stuff like that I don’t know why for the love of God they decided to have the work done at nightso it’s a pretty scuzzy hotel. The front desk clerk was very nice and pleasant but there’s you know, just one there’s like one coffee machine in the office that
I felt very safe. It was a little loud for a minimum of time - but I noticed only because I worked the night shift. Will opt for 3rd floor next time. That's right, I will be checking in again. The area was very nice and walkability was excellent.
