Disappointed

The property was as described in the listing, and the host was responsive, typically replying within an hour to any questions. However, there were a few issues that affected our stay.The kitchen was not as clean as we had hoped. The plates and cups felt sticky, and while there was only one large pan and two small pots, it was a bit of a challenge for cooking. The towels provided were also quite old and worn.The biggest disappointment was the snow that hadn't been shoveled from the back porch. After a long 4-hour drive, we had to shovel it ourselves. Unfortunately, my friend slipped and bruised her thigh coming from the porch. There were two bags of salt, but one had been left unopened on the back porch, which didn’t help with the icy conditions.Another safety note: be cautious when going to the basement, especially when coming from the hot tub to the sauna. The stairs can be slippery.

This house is beautiful, it meets all expectations and has everything you need. I stayed with my family for a weekend. It is a beautiful place and the house is large, clean and very well maintained. The owner Adam is very kind and answers your messages immediately and answers all your questions. We will definitely rent this house again.

Great weekend getaway

The home was great for a party of 5, with plenty of room to spread out. Everything was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen is stocked with the basics for cooking (a few pans and small pots, cutting boards, knives, etc) - so if you need large cookware or specialty items to cook for a large crowd, you may want to bring some of your own stuff. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Each time you arrive at the community, you need to check in at the front gate. Sometimes there was a long line of cars to get in but it wasn't really an issue for us.

Nice Place!

The house was very clean and Spacious! Adam the owner definitely takes care of the home. Nice game room and the TV provided many channels to choose from for our nightly movies. We enjoyed the Hot Tub and Pool! Went to the beach and played Volley ball in the rain. lol Chose a rainy week this year. Then the sun and warmth came out and enjoyed sunning on the new deck. Definitely a great house to rent for Vaca! Since we started vacationing in the Poconos this is the first house we have discussed going back to for future stays! You'll definitely like it!!

Excellent home away from home

I definitely recommend this house as it feels home to us. The beautiful house gives you lots of room to relax and enjoy at the same time. Adam was very spot on with his description and very easy to communicate with. Everything was wonderful, we had a fantastic time. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely home! Winter weekend getaway

Just returned from our stay in the mountains. Adams property was one of the best we have stayed at. It was a large property with plenty of room to spread out. It had some awesome amenities such as a game room, sauna and hot tub. The property was pet friendly and had a dog run which was a plus for us! I would definitely return!

Very quite getaway

The house was very clean, and Adam the owner was very responsive. The listing is accurate. The items listed under safety features mistakenly states fenced yard which is not the case. Great property if you want to see wildlife up close. Lots of deer, foxes, bunnies and raccoons. The pool and hot tub were awesome and the pool had great sun all day. The house was very spacious for our group of six people and two dogs. The yard did need mowing as the grass was up to my knee or higher on most of the yard. Adam did respond to that in a timely manner. The house is a bit pricey for missing minor details. Examples of minor details; no tv in any of the bedrooms and no mini fridge in the game room area. Also many screens were missing or broken. The house also had some stress holes that hadn’t been properly covered up. All and all the property did what we needed and we enjoyed our stay.

Pure serenity!

The house and property were amazing! Great getaway from city life. If you love deer this is a must! Constant visitors of buck, doe, and fawns. Hot tub was great, especially after hiking at Bushkill Falls. Owner is very responsive. Looking forward to renting again! Thanks for everything Adam!

Wonderful place to spend time with family 👪

We had 3 families and it was the perfect set up. Simple booking, check-in and check-out was a breeze... heads up this is a gated community so there are security and there are separate entrances for residents and visitors but there were no signs/directions pertaining to that...the security i understand have a hard job but they could be more respectful and courteous. The Owners were SUPER responsive. This house is perfect for a big group get away...We had a blast & no issues! Our group will for sure be back in the summer season to fully enjoy the yard...the pool and the hot tub! Would definitely recommend...

Perfect house/place to stay for a family who doesn’t want to be with a lot of people

Let me start with Adam for being so helpful and responded to all my inquiries quickly. As a mom who never get out with my kids in a crowded place and who rented houses before pandemic in all different states I highly recommend this house. Secluded house in the middle of Pocono Mountain attractions. Everything is in this house. Name it he has it. Game room, bar, games for kids and adults, toys for toddlers. Kitchen is fully equipped, it has disposable plates and cups, thrash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap (note: dishwasher is set to Sanitize Wash and can’t be changed that why I love it) disinfecting cleaner. And most importantly it was spotlessly clean Rooms are very spacious, we are 10 and that house is too big for us. Beds smells clean, fresh and sanitized ( why I am so happy ) hardwood floors are clean and shiny. Bathrooms are all clean as well. And has nice hand soap for every sink. I am beyond satisfied. Driveway fits probably 6-8 cars without any problem. Swimming pool and hot tub are the best part of our stay. We enjoyed being there. You can tell they cleaned and disinfected or sanitized them both. I rated this house 10 instead of 5. We will sure stay here when we visit Pocono Mountain again.
