Some of the reviews of this property are pretty harsh, and I wish I could have more positive things to say, but this place really needs a total make-over. The (reasonably) good... as clean as they can make it, quiet area (but noisy A/C units), location and parking, comfy bed with nice linens, good accommodation for having a pet. But... no fixtures appear to have been made in this century, "supertanker" toilet that barely flushed, sink stopper missing, sink faucet handle loose and ready to fall off, sink faucet leaks out of top stem, hard stains and paint splotches all around. No comfort chair to sit in despite plenty of room. It wasn't disgusting, just tacky and sad and dim. Bad showing for Ramada. Thought they were a better quality chain. The Red Roof Inn we are at a night later is far superior in every respect.

Room was gross!
Hotel is dated and needs maintenance. Mattresses are mushy and uncomfortable. Room needed deeper cleaning; I.e. - outside porcelain of toilet bowl had large smear and drip of vomit. Likewise, outer edge of trash can in the bathroom had large smear of dried vomit; so, no attention to detail, beside removing plastic liner and replacing. Wiping outside of both surfaces was never done. Very large dark circle of what appeared as dried vomit was also present by the desk in the room, again near the trash can. Like someone was clearly ill in this room and missed vomiting in the trash can and it landed on the carpet instead. We stayed during the Balloon Fiesta, so room turn-over was HUGE, during this event. However, more attention to detail would be greatly appreciated, for areas where it was so obvious. We are certain that Housekeeping was grossly overworked. Front desk gal was clearly disconnected when we tried bringing lack of cleanliness to her attention, as our maid mostly spoke Spanish and didn’t seem to understand our concern to tidy up these areas. Included breakfast was nice. Waitresses and hostess went out of their way to help me get seated in a handicapped section. Ramada is usually our hotel of choice. We were obviously disappointed with our stay during this booking.

The room was dirty. Had to switch rooms at least 4 times before getting in a descent room. Every one I was moved to had something wrong. Horrible stay ever. Won’t ever be back.

Rather stay at an Air BnB
There were roaches in our room and the room was very very dirty. Went to the lobby to complain. The clerk spoke with manager and moved us to a different room but the manager did not come out to apologize or make things right. Instead, we were told it was the only move they would allow. The second room had water damage and mold above the shower. We had to stay because most hotels were fully booked or twice as expensive. Never staying at a Ramada by Wyndham ever again. I’d rather stay at an Air BnB. (This site won’t let me upload all the picture I have of the nasty rooms in my review.)

I prefer to share it with corporate, and intend to. Even the delivery guy that we met when checking out was appalled at the general filthy conditions of the entire facility. Wyndam has a Monopoly on MOST hotels. There is no such thing as fair market value in any of their facilities, including the most POSH.

Make sure you are getting the room you requested.
I reserved a 2 queen bed suite and was told at check in that it wasn't available, I had put in the hotels.Com app that we were needing sleeping arrangements for 3 children and 2 adults. Just a regular room wouldn't meet our needs. They did not make arrangements to satisfy my needs.... I had to ask if they had adjoining rooms and they didn't comp me the other room for customer service. They said that when booking through a third party that you just get what's left. I had to pay an extra $100 just to make sure my kids had beds. Also, their breakfast buffet was terrible.

Cockroaches everywhere
Cockroaches were found throughout the property. When brought to the attention of the front desk, it seemed like it wasn't a big deal. They offered to change us rooms and we found more cockroaches. When we asked for a refund they denied us claiming blackout dates because of the balloon festival. We left immediately

We drove from Oklahoma to Albuquerque for a family reunion, we booked the hotel in advanced and payed extra per person to insure our trip incase something went wrong or we had to leave early we could get refunded. We reserved a Non-Smoking room. We got all checked in and we open the door to our room and the TV was already on (weird) the room smelt so strongly of cigarette smoke! You could even smell it on the linens. We dont smoke so we dont want to smell that! I informed the front desk and they said the whole hotel is non smoking but they can't control what people do and refused to switch us to a different room. The toilet didn't flush and the carpets felt so dirty I kept shoes on unless I was getting in the bed. We felt we had no other option but to leave early so we checked in at 11pm and was out by 10:30 am the next morning. We payed for two night's and they refused to refund the night we didnt even stay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was so rude and they say on their website free complimentary breakfast at 6- 830am their wasnt a person to be seen bringing out so much as cereal at 6am. We got their after the pool had already closed, the picture on their website is not even close to what the pol actually looks like. Dirty towels still covered the floor around the pool at 6 am from the day befor. Terrible experience due to the choice of hotel. Never again will i oay to stay in such a dirty miserable environment.

Horrid. Stay away
Absolutely terrible. The ceiling fell in our bathtub and they wouldnt send someone to even clean it. There were exposed wiring boxes, a code violation. Holes in the wall, cigar butts on the floor in the pool room for 3-4 days, no towels in said pool room and the jacuzzi jets were broken and the pool had clumps of hair floating around, clearly not cleaned ever. This looks nothing like the photos online.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK HERE!! DONT BELIEVE THE PICTURES!! bed begs, stained bloody mattresses, stained carpeting, sliding doors with broken locks on ground floor, hair in bathroom upon arrival, broken shower valves. weird smells. When i told front desk my room has evidence of bed bugs i was changed to an even grosser room. When i asked if i could see the last pest inspection or spray, was refused and told no refunds during balloon fest. Red hair front desk staff gal was dismissive and unaccommodating. Ended up leaving after 1st night and moving to the holiday inn express on 1-25 which is closer to the event. Still fighting with my credit card and the hotel on this charge. Uber drivers told me lots of truck drivers stay here and they all complain about it as well. Pool and workout room are very outdated.
