I have stayed here about 6 times now. Albuquerque is my halfway point on my 2-day drive. I have stayed at a Best Western, and a Hilton property before and was left unhappy with them. I have also stayed at the Laquenta and Days Inn on the West side of town, but that area has just gotten way too shady. Since it's just one overnight each trip each way I just want a budget hotel and the Querque Hotel is priced accordingly. But It is much nicer than any of the other budget hotels I've stayed at in Albuquerque. It's easy to get too, it's in a relatively safe location (for Albuquerque). It's well maintained, and clean. The front desk staff is always welcoming and friendly. There is not much around for walking or dining, but the Green Jeans food court is a short drive away. The included breakfast is the only downside, but I usually leave before it's open anyway. All-in-all it's the best budget hotel in Albuquerque I've found. I will continue staying here many more times to come.

When we checked in, there were no luggage carts available, they would not take our freezer packs needed for medication and freeze them due to “liability”. Our air conditioner in the room blew out warm air all night. It was inexpensive so that was a positive.

Check-in was easy and check-in personnel were pleasant and professional. The room was clean but was extremely cold. We had to turn the air cooler off in order to warm it up and it took a while. There was no shampoo only conditioner and lotion. Other than that...it was good.

People great Breakfast sucked

All the staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast is not a breakfast except for thawed frozen pancakes, mini muffins, toast and cereal. Having celiac disease, gluten sensitivity on steroids, I could not eat anything and chose this hotel for the price + "FREE BREAKFAST". Bed was great and even next to the interstate it was very quiet in the room. Lots of marijuana smell in the hallways. Will stay somewhere else on our next trip to Albuquerque.

room is nice size. good heating/cooling in the room. nice, comfortable bed. problems: 1) internet did not work at all. was down all 21+ hours we were there. 2) things are a bit run down; not bad but just kind of noticeable paint and carpet wearing down 3) water took a REALLY long time to heat up in the shower

Great AC and bed. Hotel is old but fairly maintained halls. Shower was very good, but drain clogged and slow to drain out. Door to rm 157 stuck so bad had to force it open and made loud slam to get it to close. Dryers are old, and left one had soaked clothes, had to dry those and most clothes from that dryer! Staff was friendly, helpful, and Shelby was excellent!

We were moved 3. Times to a different room. The maintenance for the rooms was lacking First room the tv didn’t work along with the lights not working the air conditioning was very noisy and a door to a cabinet would not stay closed On the second room the door key card would stop working and we had to go down to the front desk to have it reset. The staff then moved us to another room Mostly this room was ok but we did find a safety hazard with the wall outlet was loose and falling off the wall
