We stayed here for the balloon festival. Nice quiet area but took awhile to get there. Plenty of parking and rooms were quiet. Power went out during our stay but was on a few hours later. Nice hotel for the budget we had.

The beds were very firm and pillows weren’t very soft or squishy like down. The room had not been dusted in what appeared to be a long time. We had conditioner, but no shampoo. The bath towels were ripped and ragged.

Our stay was average, and a bit pricey for what the hotel was (though it was during the Balloon Fiesta, which drove prices up everywhere). The service was excellent - they were kind enough to let us check in early, and they were accommodating of our request to change rooms when we found a cockroach in our first room. The place itself is dated. Carpets in the main hall looked worn, there was a large stain on the couch in our second room, and the furniture looked like it had been knocked around. Our room was clean though, and the indoor pool - while smelling strongly of chlorine - was warm and clean.

When I saw pictures on Expedia. I felt robbed because the pictures did not match our room at all. I def will not be staying here again. My little family of 4 felt very unsafe in the neighborhood, also we felt unsafe in our room. The lock on the doors seemed to be so flimsy that someone can just open the door. We checked in at 3:30pm, we checked out at 9:30pm we didn’t feel comfortable enough to sleep there. We were hoping for this to be a beautiful experience but it def was not.

The room I was assigned was the best since my previous stays: clean bathroom/shower (no drain issues), king bed could have used a comforter for the cold days of my stay. But, I guess I can bring my own blanket for cold weather days. I like that the hotel property has parking security that monitors the parking area over night.

Great hotel for Balloon Festival
Funny name but nice hotel. We came during the balloon festival and it was convenient to the bus pick up at the mall down the street. We actually saw more balloons from the hotel parking lot though. We stayed 2 days, breakfast was good too.

I've stayed at other hotels for that price and you saw it reflected in the quality. This was a lovely exception - great price, very comfortable room - I wish we could have stayed another night to check out the pool and other amenities. Have already recommended to a friend.
