I have stayed at the Querque hotel many times. It is central located at the cross roads of I-40 and I-25. Easy to get to and to travel to Old Town, Ballon fiesta, UNM, concerts venues, etc. It is an older property, but it is always clean. The staff is polite and helpful. They also have overnight parking lot security. As well as an indoor pool. I feel that it is a very good value.

Other than front desk day clerk stay was average.

Traveling with my son, he had his last physical training test to enter his Navy SWICC contract. The day shift front desk girl was extremely difficult, argumentative and rude to say the least at check in. During check in she also stated it would be another $100 just incase we did something to the room. I asked about how long it would take to be returned and she stated at checkout. After we got our keys to our room the toilet in our room wasn’t flushing and the handle was leaking water on the floor. We informed her and she stated she would send maintenance. After several minutes we checked the fitness center and circled back to the office. We informed the female clerk we were going to go get something to eat and she stated with the biggest attitude “well maintenance went to your room but nobody answered so what do you want to do” I said we didn’t receive instructions from her to wait should we go back to the room. She rolled her eyes and said I’ll just switch your room because we were being difficult. This was the most difficult, upsetting and uncomfortable situation I’ve been in. My family is always very polite and even understanding. She kept texting on her phone. She was very unprofessional. Maintenance did come but toilet continued to leak and at checkout she said we would receive our $100 in 3-5 businesses instead. I really felt mistreated by her and her boss/management should know. A side from my experience with staff the hotel itself and property was nice for the cost
