Great choice!
We had a very nice stay here. Ezra in the evenings and the young lady (sorry we didn’t get her name) in the mornings were very friendly and accommodating. The elevator’s operation was questionable so we had to carry the stroller up the stairs each time but these little inconveniences are always insignificant when you receive great service. The location was great and the free breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety. Loved that there was a supermarket very close by.

Beware - We have been told guests got stuck in the elevator so we better not use it, so we didn’t took the chance and used the stairs. The beds were uncomfortable and probably the worst I have ever had. We arrived in August which is mostly hot (not talking about heat wave) and there is NO AC. The door of the room was open and two small fans were working to somehow reduce the heat of the room, without any success. Breakfast is limited to specific time slots as the room Is too small to contain more than ~25 people and there was only one small fan to help the heat, again without any success. You pay for a hotel but eventually you sleep in a cheap guesthouse. Not worth the money and definitely not recommended!

The room was extremely hot as the window could not be opened resulting poor ventilation.There was only one very little fan in the room, definitely not enough for a double room, not to say it was still 35°C after dark during the heat wave in July. Even worse, a cat came into our room which was on the ground floor through the narrow window at about 2 am! My husband and I could hardly sleep during our stay. One good thing, the breakfast was good.

Spotless hotel in a wonderful city Alkmaar. Only 40 min drive to sightsee in Amsterdam but loved the tranquil city of Alkmaar. Nice shopping area.. Canals..Restaurants and a park/trail 5 mins from hotel to run/jog. Edmond an zee beach on 10mins away. Hotel was clean and basic but ideal for family of 2+2. Staff very friendly. Breakfast ideal.

Hotel is centraal gelegen, je loopt zo het centrum in. Parkeren op de binnenplaats is ook prettig. Het ontbijt is prima. De kamer was erg ruim. Hotel is wel erg gehorig. Kabaal van deuren die dichtvallen, mensen die op de eerste verdieping lopen. Badkamer is oke, maar de douche gaf een "zuinige" waterstraal.
