Overall a very nice hotel. Nice rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. However the heating in my room did not work, even after changing rooms. The rooms were freezing at night.

Without doubt the major disappointment was the pathetic shower would have been better served by using one of the plastic cups they provide and pouring water on myself. Nice location and restaurant very difficult to get a drinks at the bar

Quirky check in process and the breakfast was nice. On the final day there was no.hot water so i had to shower in freezing cold water.

The hotel is very attractive and modern. It has a good dining facility with a wide choice of food. Staff were friendly and explained how to get into Amsterdam and booked our taxi back to the airport.
The hotel is a lot further away from the centre of Asterdam than the website suggests - a €40 min taxi journey or tram from the very end of the line. The hotel also had no hot water one morning with no apology or explanation from staff. There were coffee machines but they did not work.

It was very clean and quite, staff would help us when needed but wasn’t very many people around to ask anything.
The menus to eat where rubbish wasn’t much on them was starving at dinner so ordered dominos.
They key card to get in to the rooms was a joke we got locked out of our room every time we left and they wasn’t carded they gave us it was a bit of paper with a bar code on that never worked for us. Highly annoying and rubbish system.
The staff was nice the rooms where lovely but wouldn’t stay again because lack of food and staff presence.
Location was quite far from the centre and the bus stop nearest the hotel was not operational over the weekend.
Hotel itself was lovely and modern. The bedroom could have done with a deep clean as the headboard was stained and rubbish was left in the room.
The breakfast offered plenty of variety although there were quite a few flies around the fresh meat and cheese.
Went for our 25th wedding anniversary as a surprise asked to be upgraded and have rose petals in room . Reception blurted this out as soon as we arrived not giving me time to move my husband out of over hearing then asking for 75euros the upgrade just looked like two beds pushed together and there where a few fake petals really unhappy .

Beware - looks nice but that is deceiving
Upon check-in, we received QR code to get into room instead of a key. This code did not work. I had to go to the customer service office twice in order for them to give me a plastic key. I felt that the customer service was non-existent at this hotel. One associate was reading a book on tablet and barely looked up when I mentioned my concern. Room itself was ok. It was strange that the maid service came every day, but didn’t attend to any dishes that were left in room. I was displeased when on our last day of the stay the maid entered the room without knocking at before 10am and I had just exited the shower. Check out isn’t even until 11am. I felt this wasn’t right. We stayed 3 nights at the resort and the main elevator was not up and running 2 of those 3 nights. I felt for such a large hotel this wasn’t acceptable. Location of the hotel is ok. It is 40 minutes from the center of Amsterdam. Breakfast was good - my only complaint is that certain items ran out and were not replenished quick enough and the coffee machine wasn’t running 2 days.
The room key is a paper printed from the computer and did not work most of the time and have to go downstairs all the time for assistance because there is no phone in the room.
The TVs in the whole hotel did not work for a whole day and the engineer can only come and repair the following day.
The lift broke down and had to drag suitcases up flights of stairs to the second floor..
