Great restaurant, bar and outside area. Very friendly staff! The solution with open bathroom and room was a bit weird to me, not my preferred hotel room solution, but we only stayed on night and it was not a problem. Would recommend LLoyd Hotel, especially due to the friendly staff and nice restaurant!

Kindest staff. We had a problem with our flight and they allowed us to switch the hotel booking days and upgraded us for free The hotel room was gorgeous and unique, definitely one of a kind and a must visit. Great location and a lovely bar opposite.

I've stayed here before with my brother just on a lads trip, but came here this time with my girlfriend and it was amazing. A lovely welcome and an amazing room - staff were brilliant, and if you know your way around the tram system i'd say it's an easier spot to stay in than Central Amsterdam - supermarket across the road if you need anything. 10/10 will be making this my regular stay! Thanks guys

Really unique property. Loved the rooms. Basement rooms are not great though and people at street level can see down into your room. It was also very noisy of an evening. We asked to be moved and were moved to a better room on the third floor which was excellent

Beautiful old building that has been fully modernized inside. The staff were wonderful. Would highly recommend visiting the bar for good drinks and conversation. Also, the breakfast buffet is excellent. Only complaint was there was some trash in bin in room upon check-in.

My favorite hotel
The Lloyd is my favorite hotel. Comfortable, friendly, quirky and interesting rooms, comfy beds, great food and lovely staff. The location is really nice. Though it is a little outside of the center, the tram to Central Station is right around the corner or you can walk for 20 minutes along the water and be right in the center of Amsterdam. Nice restaurants and shopping right near by. The Lloyd is a special place, my home away from home in Amsterdam.

We stay at the Lloyd every time we come to Amsterdam. Almost every year since 2004. It’s much fancier now. The location is ideal. The bar and restaurant are great. The staff is fantastic. The rooms are quirky but comfortable. My only complaint all this time is the terrible pillows. They basically sacks of air that deflate to nothing once you lay down.
