The hotel is great. Super clean and conveniently located off the Thruway and minutes to downtown Amsterdam. Not much character around the site, but you can't have everything.

Nice hotel. Breakfast was continental with a variety of pastries, bread, cereal, yogurt, and boiled eggs. Also a pancake machine. The let down for me was the laundry. It’s listed as an amenity BUT you have to drive over to the Knights Inn parking lot to the laundromat connected to their office. Machines use quarters and there is a change machine in the Knights Inn office. Shady area there though. Some young guy who appeared to be on something stared at us the ENTIRE time we washed and dried our clothes. Made us uncomfortable. Other than that everything was good.

Nice place, great breakfast
Breakfast was great, even had an automatic pancake machine. Had a full array of other options, including some donuts. Not sure if this is because it was a weekend of if they normally have that many options, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Room was fine, bed was comfortable.

This was our first stay at any Microtel, and we’re now a fan. Lisa greeted us warmly when we checked in later at night than expected. She very thoughtfully told us about dining options in the area that were still open and gave us extra towels and blankets to make sure we were going to be comfortable during the unexpected cold spell. She is the reason why I think so highly of this hotel and will book here again. Thanks, Lisa!

The property was ok. We stayed on the first floor. You could hear the floor above you walking around and or being loud. People closing the outside door very loudly. You could hear it inside our room all hours of the night. No hot breakfest until Saturday and Sunday and it wasnt any good. The eggs and sausage tasted very watered down. I've stayed at better places.
