The area is a little run down as is the property.
Big minus, though, is no elevator. We are old enough to need one. Porter was friendly and competent. But we have limited time.
I enjoyed this hotel despite the bad reviews from others. The staff were very friendly and the location is excellent for the airport plus the restaurant was superb. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
Very rundown room with a bathroom fan that was overly loud. Also walls and ceiling are paper thin so I could hear people moving around and talking all night. For the exorbitant cost it is not worth it. Bed was okay. Carpet was dirty and furniture shoukd have been replaced a long time ago. The only redeeming factor was the shuttle to the airport was prompt and the driver was super helpful and nice.
Really smelly room, hallways. A non-smoking room smells all smoke. Staff at front desk was all confused about what was happening and how to assign rooms.
Our stay here was convenient, friendly and overall great!

There was nothing around the property for dining or entertainment. The hotel only had a very noisy, crowded sports bar, which mediocre food and nowhere near enough staff. Food was good once it finally arrived. This is the first hotel I've ever stayed in where I felt nervous as a solo female traveller. I was put in a ground floor room about as far away from the lobby as you can get. No answer at all when I called for the shuttle from the airport, so had to take a cab. I chose this hotel for the airport shuttle - won't do that again. For the expensive price of $390/night I expected more.
Very sweet and helpful staff. Free shuttle pickup at airport and they were right there when we walked out the door! Loaded all luggage and unloaded and didn’t want a tip but we gave him one anyway. Great restaurant on property called Pipers. EXCELLENT SEAFOOD, service and we loved Jesse the bar tender. Breakfast was DELICIOUS and I’ve never been givin 5 pieces of bacon before! lol. Cool to see sea planes taking off and landing.

Avoid if you expect a decent experience
We booked a King Suite with a pull-out sofa for our son. When removing the couch cushions, a hand-written note was taped to the pull-out portion stating that it was broken and couldn't be used.
We had to call the front desk and have a roll-away bed brought in for our teenage son to sleep on.
Why did they book us in a room that they obviously knew was not fully operational? Incompetent!
Older hotel with very friendly staff, clean and partially renovated rooms. Comfortable beds and very quiet. The adjoining restaurant, Pipers, was excellent and had a beautiful patio and great staff as well. Would definitely stay there again!
