Perfect location to enjoy all Angel Fire and Enchanted Circle activities. Within 5 minutes of most Angel Fire resort amenities including the ski resort and 1 mile from Lowes grocery store. Hiking and mountain bike trails are just up the road.

Our home is set off the road among towering ponderosa pines. The home is bright and airy with floor to ceiling windows. Newly remodeled and decorated, this home is clean, comfortable and inviting! You'll enjoy easy access to the house including a flat driveway and plenty of parking. Four wheel drive vehicles are recommended during Winter months.

We have equipped our Chalet to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Features include a fully equipped kitchen, wood stove, washer and dryer, two Smart TVs, Internet service, and DIRECTV. Master bedroom has new King mattress, two twin beds in loft, 2 downstair bedrooms have new queen mattresses. Both bathrooms have tub shower combinations.

If this is your first time to Angel Fire you are in for a treat! Angel Fire is located on the Enchanted Circle byway. The byway encircles Wheeler Peak (13,161 feet (4,011 m)) of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. It is the tallest mountain in New Mexico. The scenic byway passes through historic towns, alongside lakes and streams, and near ski resorts and recreational parks.

Angel Fire itself offers skiing, golf, hiking and biking trails, wildlife viewing as well as the #2 rated mountain bike park in the nation. There are plenty of dining choices and night life opportunities available. You will experience the best of northern New Mexico in Angel Fire!

My time in Angel Fire
The house was warm and cozy. The views were amazing.Everything worked and the comfort of home was at our fingertips. A place to stay to get to the village quickly, the slopes, and hiking/snowshoeing availability outside the door.

Great location
We truly enjoyed our stay. The location of the property was great - very easy access to the ski slopes and the grocery store. The space was plenty for our party of 6. The communication with the owner was quick and made our stay worriless. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed. My recommendation will be to supply a few newer pans since the one that were available were all scratched off.

Good Stay Overall with Some Areas for Improvement
We enjoyed our stay and found this property to be in a great location that worked well for our family. The layout was convenient, and the setting was beautiful. However, there are a few areas that could use attention. The living room furniture is dated and could benefit from some updates for added comfort. The kitchen was stocked with very random items—some basics like pots, pans, and essential cooking utensils were missing and/or old and which made meal prep a bit challenging. Also, a heads-up for future guests: the driveway is extremely steep. On icy nights, we needed tire chains to make it up safely. That said, the property met our needs, and we had a good time overall. With a few updates and some attention to details, this place could be truly fantastic! ---

We absolutely loved the location and sitting out on the deck enjoying the cooler evenings. We saw so many deer, squirrels, hummingbirds and prairie dogs. There is a hiking trail just down the road a bit in lovely greenspace. It is also very close to the Lowe's Supermarket which made it very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Chalet in the Woods
This chalet is so lovely! It's nestled in the woods, where we enjoyed seeing deer most every day. It's easy access to a number of hiking trails, and a short distance to a grocery store, coffee shop, and Frontier Park ... where we enjoyed the Artisan Market and food trucks. The house itself, is cozy and welcoming. But, it is spacious enough where a larger group would not feel crowded. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and everything needed when you feel like cooking. We loved the opportunity to relax, without the hustle and bustle ... and hope to stay on this property again.

This house was in a great area but in need of updates and repairs: screen door was off the track, storm door would not close properly, upstairs carpet very worn. We also had several large black ants in the house. However, we had plenty of linens, paper goods, silverware, dishes and spices.

Overall good, the cabin had a great layout, but we felt like it wasn’t super clean. Wi-Fi was extremely slow. We’ve stayed elsewhere in Angel Fire where it was much faster, so not sure why that is. Cabin had a decent amount of things, but coffee maker didn’t work and there was no soap in one of the bathrooms, also tons of spiders. The location of the cabin is beautiful.

We had a great time! We arrived and the home was not cleaned but John made sure to make it right ASAP. That’s the only reason I wrote the cleanliness wasn’t perfect. We loved the home and it was our second stay there and hopefully we will be there next year.

Christmas Getaway
It is a very nice cabin, master bedroom was great, our two boys stayed in the loft area on the two twin beds. Family was in other two bedrooms. The only problem was no measuring cups or measuring spoons. Also, the ashes from the previous tenants was left in a bucket on the front porch. It was a wonderful time had by all. We will try to book again. Kids had a blast with all the deer we saw that would walk right up to you. It is a great cabin for 8 people.

This was such a cozy placed, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the resort, but close enough to everything to be convenient. They kids loved having a yard to play in, and the adults enjoyed the view. It was a great place to make memories.

The cabin is amazing. So clean, unbelievable stocking of the kitchen, all the way to baggies! The deer that came were so friendly. The trees and the entire area is beautiful! Listing is accurate but...
The listing is very accurate and overall the place is very nice. The kitchen is well stocked and the deck is nice place to sit and enjoy the wildlife. You will enjoy your visit here. But there are a few things that need to be said. The sheets are very thin and wore out and the pillows are not comfortable. Unfortunately for me the ceiling fan in the master bedroom did not work. I called about this the first evening and the next afternoon somebody came and confirmed it was broken. I wasn't there to talk to the person but the message i got was somebody would reach out to me about this. This never happened and I ended up paying twice what I normally would for a box fan at the local grocery store just to have some air movement at night. That I am not happy about. Suggestion: I know that the amenities do not list air conditioning and that is on me for not catching that. But with 84-88% of the US using air conditioning ( i looked it up) That is not something many people even think to look at and it would be a nice warning.
