The space is large enough to easily accommodate 2 families, with beds for 12 - 14. When we travel, comfortable beds and pillows are a must, so no expense has been spared with your sleeping comfort. Please note, in bedroom 3, you can request 2 single beds instead of the king bed, the bunk room has king single bunks as our own kids are adults and tall and the sofa bed is Queen sized.
Linen is not supplied, but can be hired at minimal cost ($25 per person). Please let us know if you'd like to hire linen. Each bed has quality pillows, mattress protector, bed spread and doona, with cover. You will need to bring sheets, pillow cases and towels.
2 large living rooms allow you to all be together or give the adults some space while the kids relax downstairs. Further relaxations spaces are found outside, with outdoor lounge, dining and fire pit areas providing many options. Large trees in the yard provide lovely spaces to hang the hammock or swing chairs provided. The house is well heated, with a gorgeous wood heater, large reverse cycle heater and heaters in each bedroom. There is a super large air conditioner upstairs, and the house stays nice a cool downstairs during summer.
Both dining areas seat 12 - 14 so that you can all dine together if you like. A well equipped kitchen should meet your culinary needs. We love to cook, so rest assured, you should be able to cook up a storm when toasties just aren't enough. Yes, there is a coffee machine too, so your first coffee can be enjoyed in bed, and you can walk to any of the local cafes to grab your second brew. You're spoiled for choice.
Through the back gate you'll find the Kuarka Dorla nature reserve, and a path leading through the bush, right to the river. From here, you're a hop, skip and jump from the beach, impressive playgrounds, shops, pubs, restaurants etc. We like to walk, but if you have heaps to carry, there is plenty of parking near the beach and in town, and you're minutes away.
There is off street parking for 3 cars and a lovely new native garden to greet you.
