Everything was great, but the fact that they don’t refill coffee and conditioner and you have to pay for it €2 to get 20c worth of coffee is ridiculous. Was it worth to lose 1 star?

Beautiful, spacious, modern, the Shipyard was exactly as described online and just what we needed. The breakfast was generous and the food was excellent. I would absolutely come back here again.

Absolutely excellent hotel. Modern, very attentive and pleasant staff, convenient location, free underground parking, even curtains operating on buttons. Very good breakfast but no hot meal options. We have tried the restaurant and found it good but more expensive than it is worth. Restaurants in downtown are better value, but if you are tired at the end of a busy day then absolutely go and dine right on the property.

Amazing property! The furnishings in the room are top notch. Very nice whole room bluetooth speakers that we didn’t discover until our last day. About 10-15 min walk to town. Make sure you make reservations for dinner in this town otherwise you might not be eating. My only complaints are the service was not that friendly or informative for such a nice hotel. Also the AC doesn’t work that great which is kind of annoying at night.

Avoid - very poor customer service
Beautiful hotel, unfortunately that’s where the pleasantries end. Customer service was absolutely horrible and I was accused of taking the access card. Firstly, no use of a plastic card, and secondly, only received one. Asked for early check-in, felt like such an imposition. AC in the room didn’t work, was so hot and stuffy. Night clerk was very rude and made it appear that I was inconveniencing him when I needed to leave. It’s 2024, get card access after hours. Overall, horrible customer service.

Very nice hotel, with free onsite parking. They also have EV chargers in the parking garage. The hotel rooms are very clean and have very comfortable bedding. My major issue was the AC. It barely works. Even on the lowest setting it was still warmer than what I would have liked. My sister and brother in law had the same issue in their room. We contacted the front desk and the maintenance person was “on vacation” so nothing could be done. We did dine in the restaurant and I had the best octopus dish I’ve ever had. Also convenient that they have free beach towels that you can take/return daily.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and very professional. The breakfast buffet and menu items were incredible and delicious with great options and choices. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The location was perfect—close to all the festivities, but not so close that the noise kept you awake. My only complaint would be the inability to make our room cooler. We would definitely stay here again though.

This property was excellent. It is spacious . Very clean and most importantly safe . Close to downtown Angra, within walking distance. I would highly recommend this property . When I return I plan on staying at this property again. Oh one more thing the breakfast was delicious!!!

Beautiful, comfortable hotel during our stay in Angra. The rooms were large, very clean, and the halls were quiet. We were also able to check in several hours before the official time since we took an early mornjng flight to Terceira. We found that parking around town was rather difficult, and it was great to have the underground parking to leave the car at the hotel and wander the town and marina on foot. No negatives to report, will recommended this to anyone looking to visit!

Hidden gem!
The pictures do not do this place justice. This place is amazing. The rooms are clean, spacious and very inexpensive compared to what you get. I would expect to pay $300-500 per night in a major US city for these rooms and we paid ~$150 per night. The staff is super helpful and the restaurant has amazing food and service. Highly recommended!
