I have to say that I would have never imagined that a Hilton property could be so mismanaged. Before I get into the details of our horrible experience, I do want to take time to thank Derrick at the front desk. His service was 5 stars whenever we had to get his help.
Our room was a two-room suite with a separate bedroom. The format of the room was nice because it had 2 bathrooms and a nice sized living area. That is where the good ends. We had a 5 day reservation and in those 5 days, our bed was never made, our sheets were never changed. and we had to ask twice to get towels. During our 5 day stay, we had to get new keys a total of 9 times, consisting of 18 different keys. That is no exaggeration. As a matter of fact, that number may be on the low side. Our keys were always failing to the point where Derrick had to come up with his pass key to get us in our room several times. On one occasion, I had been to the front desk twice for new keys while my wife waited in the hallway for me by the room.
Our main bathroom was very roomy but the shower looked awful. Missing grout and mold on the lower 2 tiers of tiles. Our trash was never emptied until I threatened to put it out in the hallway. Lastly, I had to search to find a working ice machine. The ice machine on the second floor was out of order during our stay. At $250/night I was robbed. In the next 4 yrs, I will be going back but not to this property - ever!
