Tremendous quirky little hotel
If you want 24hr room service this hotel is not for you (after 3pm there are no staff, entry is via a key pad), but we thought it was fantastic and individual. The five bedrooms are decorated in different styles. The house is the office of architects / interior designers, and is their business premises as well as hotel. Our room (Gent's) was on the front of the hotel with twin aspect - beautifully decorated & and furnished, extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the cellars was a delicious spread of fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, cheeses, breads and croissants, eggs. Various teas and coffees to choose from, and available at any time of day or night for guests to help themselves to. Also a reasonably priced 'honesty bar.' The welcome and service was impeccable, extremely friendly and helpful. We were given a map, guide and restuarant suggestions on arrival and nothing seemed too much trouble. The only downside was that there are not many restaurants in the neighbourhood. However there were several within 10 - 15 mins walk. Try Zurenborg, google the Karawij (lovely little bistro) and Enoteca Savini (fantastic wine bar with small restaurant serving simple but delicious Italian food). Don't be lured by more expensive and poorer quality food in the city centre.

Wünderschönes kleines Boutique Hotel
Kleines, von Architekten eingerichtetes und geführtes Haus, das auch als showroom genutzt wird. Wir haben am Tag der Anreise gebucht und wurden sofort vom Hotel kontaktiert, da die Rezeption abends nicht besetzt ist. Per email bekamen wir den code für den Hauseingang und konnten ganz einfach im Hof parken (kostet 15€) und dann direkt ohne lästigen check-in in unser Zimmer. Perfekt! Wir hatten das weisse Zimmer was ganz nach unserem Geschmack war. Sehr stilvoll und edel eingerichtet. Großes schönes Bad. Einige kleinere Verbesserungsvorschläge: Tee / Kaffee direkt im Zimmer wäre super. Und die Dusche könnte mehr Wasserdruck vertragen, als auch einen größeren Duschkopf.

Superbe déco
Hôtel magnifique, décoré avec un extrême bon goût puisqu'il sert à la base comme outil de démonstration du savoir faire d'un bureau d'architectes. En plus c'est calme, cosy, propre,... L'accueil est à la fois sympa et pro, le petit déjeuner est excellent. Le quartier a l'avantage d'être calme mais il est un peu à l'écart du centre (15-20 min à pieds).

zauberhafte Stadtvilla
Die Stadtvilla liegt im Judenviertel von Antwerpen. Sie wurde vor etwa 4 Jahren vollständig restauriert und befindet sich in Architektenhand. Es gibt nur 5- großzügige und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete- Studios. Das Frühstück wird im ehemaligen Weinkeller serviert. Das ganze Haus ist wundervoll dekoriert. Selbst in den 3 Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes wurden Kleinigkeiten immer wieder umdekoriert. Alles ist käuflich zu erwerben, so man möchte. Es ist alles sehr persönlich und individuell. Man fühlt sich ganz zu Hause. Nach 17.00 Uhr ist kein Personal mehr da, man kann aber durch alle Räume gehen, sich noch einen Tee kochen oder Getränke aus dem Kühlschrank entnehmen. Auch einen kleinen Garten gibt es.

Geweldig hotel voor weekendje Antwerpen. Loopafstand van het station. Kamers zijn schoon, comfortabel en ingericht door de binnenhuis architect die beneden kantoor houdt. Je krijgt de code van de voordeur. Er is geen receptie; 's avond en 's nacht ben je, met de andere gasten op jezelf.
