The room smelt as though a smoker had been staying in it previously, with the windows left open on our arrival, seemingly to try and remove the smell, but the smell remained throughout our stay. The windows opened over the busy car park, so we couldn't leave them open at night. Incidentally, the car park was too full and small for us to use, so we had to park on the street. The worst part of our stay was when the fire alarm went off at 3am. It became clear it was not a test, so everyone evacuated, following the signs. There were no staff present. All guests were just left standing in the poorly lit car park (I tripped over poor paving in the darkness) waiting for something to happen. Nothing did, and the alarm eventually stopped. Everyone made there way back in on their own accord after a while of standing clueless in the car park, but still, no staff present. When we checked out in the morning there was no apology or explanation from staff. Very poor treatment, will not be staying again.
