Very Nice Villa Let Down by a Few Small Things
The villa is very nice, very clean and well equipped. Easy access to Biarritz, Bayonne, St Jean and San Sebastien so a great location to explore all that SW France has to offer. Lovely baker 10 mins away and an excellent supermarket 15 mins away. The owner's husband kindly drove to both to show us how to get to them. However, despite paying the not insignificant additional cleaning charge, we were given a long lecture on arrival on keeping the kitchen clean, the BBQ clean and putting every item of kitchenware back in its correct position. We would have kept the place clean in any event but the lecture was over the top and set the wrong tone. We also paid extra for sheets and towels. Sheets were fine although pricey but the pillows were terrible. The towels per room came as one large and one small towel which was hopeless for two adults and the price was outrageous, particularly given that they were old and hard - cheaper to buy locally and dump them. And we never got the kitchen tea towel or oven glove that we requested. There were no other creature comforts - no soap, shampoo or other amenities, not even one square of loo roll. The separate contract that the owner required included a clause for a two thousand euro security deposit. We were quite taken aback when we got there as it turned out that this needed to paid in cash, rather than a swipe on a card. This was on top of needing to produce evidence of travel insurance for third party liability. To be fair there was no problem with getting the deposit back at the end of our stay (the BBQ was gleaming!) but we did not really need a big wad of euros at the end of our holiday Finally, the wifi was at best weak and for quite a lot of the time not really working at all. We enjoyed our week there and in the end saw all these as owner idiosyncracies. By all means go and stay there but I recommend you take your own towels, your own loo roll and a well stuffed wallet

Deux semaines à Arcangues
Nous avons passé un agréable sejour, dans une maison moderne et lumineuse. Une piscine et un cadre agréable et apaisant. A noter un démarrage houleux. Il y a eu un malentendu sur la mise à disposition des draps (qui a été résolu). Attention prevoir de ramener vos torchons, tapis de douche, savon pour les mains, sacs poubelles... bref comme au camping, au prix de la location c'est assez deceptif de ne pas avoir juste le minimum pout démarrer, surtout au prix de la location.Les propriétaires ont accéder deux fois à l'hébergement en notre absence et sans nous prevenir. La procedure d'arrivée etait longue et un peu exagérée surtout après de longues heures de route.

Séjour très agréable
Logement très agréable dans un environnement calme et bucolique. La situation est idéale : 10min des plages, et de tous commerces tout en profitant de la quiétude de la campagne. Literie confortable, la piscine et le terrain de boules très appréciés ! A noter toutefois une odeur d’humidité persistante dans l’une salle de bain et les ustensiles et équipements mériteraient d’être renouvelés ou complétés. (Ustensiles de cuisine non utilisables, vaisselle dépareillées ou incomplète, pas de cafetière expresso, pas de sèche cheveux). Nos hôtes étaient très sympathiques, à l’écoute et soucieux de notre bien-être et je suis convaincu que nos remarques seront pris en compte.

Maison et région magnifique !!!
Nous avons passé quinze jours très agréables à arcangues dans cette magnifique villa, Lumineuse, aérée, et très fonctionnelle, La literie et les équipements sont au top, particulièrement appréciable la fermeture centralisée des volets, bien pratique ! La région est superbe, la maison est idéalement située entre Bayonne et l Espagne, proche de biarritz et anglet je vous conseille de monter au somment de me rhune, point culminant du pays Basque, c est physique mais ça vaut le détour !! Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles en cas de besoin, En bref je recommande !!

Arcangues place strategique en retrait des foules pour decouvrir cette magnifique region A 15 mn des Plages et 30 des sites incontournables de l arriere pays Pas de deception sur la maison de Dominique extremement ergonomique propre et moderne Un tout petit bémol au niveau des equipements cuisine : une plancha serait bienvenue Mais nous avons su nous en passer En résumé un magnifique séjour en famille dans un village qui a fait l unanimite et une maison superbe et idealement situee

Belle villa, prestations à améliorer
La villa moderne et confortable est belle, située au calme et n'est pas très éloignée des sites à visiter. Malgré cela la période très affluente de notre séjour, rendait les trajets fastidieux, (beaucoup de bouchons). D'autre part, quelques remarques concernant l'accueil et les prestations facturées. La propriétaire est un peu ... compliquée, ou du moins la communication l'est. Pas de réservation en ligne possible, des virements solde compris avant de venir, un état des lieux à la main sans double, alors que la caution est de 2000 euros. Le wi-fi est extrêmement capricieux, car pas de box mais un relais de celle de la propriétaire vivant juste à côté. Difficile pour préparer ses excursions. Le linge facturé en sus (1 grande serviette par personne et un tapis de bain,) ne comprend pas de torchons ni de petites serviettes. Un peu chiche comme dotation. Un petit étendoir cassé avec 3 pinces à linges à notre disposition pour 8. Un détail car il est vrai que la maison est dotée d'un sèche-linge, mais peu écologique de le faire fonctionner, l'été. Lors de l'entretien de la piscine le robot n'avait pas été branché par la personne en charge de l'entretien. Les jardiniers nous ont réveillés un matin à 9h, à grand renfort de tondeuse...

De très bonnes vacances
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette demeure à deux pas de tout (Biarritz, les golfs, la mer, la montagne) et qui offre un confort, une fonctionnalité, une luminosité quasi parfaite ! les chambres sont spacieuses, le salon et la terrasse, sont parfaits pour y réunir famille ou amis, dans un calme absolu. Merci à Dominique Valverde, pour sa gentillesse et sa discrétion et nous aurons un grand plaisir à y séjourner à nouveau. Michel JARIEL Nb: Petits points d'améliorations et oui il en faut pour maintenir un bon niveau de prestations/ >Le ménage d'entrée un peu sommaire, >la cuisine souffre un peu du manque de rangement ( pas très grave quand même).
