Roaches.
There were roaches in my room and the tv did not work. I killed a couple but there were more, including one that came from comforter when I moved it. Tv would have helped muffle the voices of the loud folks outside. I'm not a Priss at all but this was one of my worst stays. Service was really good however!

Convenient stopover on the way from Sun Valley area to Yellowstone. Next to a noisy busy road. We chose it for position and as we are on a long road trip it was a place with a laundry. We knew it had a microwave and fridge as eating out options looked limited. But if we did not have our own cups, plates, bowls and cutlery we wouldn't have been able to eat in. One broken chair outside which we took in as only 1 chair inside. Floor oddly stained. Bed good size but soft.

Very friendly staff.
The stay was comfortable enough considering the small town off the beaten path. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The only negative was the bathroom flooring wasn’t installed properly so that it squeaks as you walk on it. The heater was rather noisy also.

Worst property stayed in via Expedia. Problems are as follows: no hot water; direct TV/TV doesn't work; no cups for coffee; bathroom is filthy; door doesn't lock/close securely. The room does not satisfy the basic conditions for properties.

Keep driving
We needed a place to stay near Craters of the Moon and Arco was pretty much it. The motel is a dump, but Katie at the desk was as accommodating as you can get. First room, the air c wasn’t working and the toilet seat needed to be put in the dumpster. Katie quickly agreed to change the room. The second one had god AC. The shower was scary and most of the furniture was broken. Don’t even think of waking on the carpet!

I really liked this old style motor court. Katie, the co-owner, was very nice and recommended sites to see and where to eat breakfast. While this seems counter-intuitive, it was nice to not have reliable WiFi--it allowed us to focus on our vacation and not listen to the news. Anyone staying there should know this is not a resort. It is a friendly, clean old-style motor court that is in an area with interesting sites to see (Craters of the Moon Nat'l Monument and EBR-1).

Ideal stopover location in Idaho
This Motel is situated on Highway 20 Idaho. Its in the middle of a desert. The town of Arco is small, however the welcome was huge. The managers are doing a great job of maintaining it in some really inhospitable temperatures 39 Celsius 103F. The room had an older air conditioning unit, it was noisy but worked really well. We turned it down through the night. They told us about a local bar restaurant that did excellent food and drinks.

Very friendly manager. However, 2 things I didn't like. 1) other guests smoked outside my room. Had to run the AC all the time to combat the smell. 2) the microwave plate had dried food on it. Gross
