The hotel was very affordable, the pool area was very nice and the hotel has a pizzeria on site but the hotel in general needs updating as does the room I stayed in. Because the hotel is located in front of a main road at night it is very noisy. But being on a main road it has many easy access options.

Good location with potential but needs improvement

Location was great to move around Arecibo and its surroundings. Front desk help was great. Room was comfortable but outdated. TV or control didn't work. Phone did not work either. There was only one outlet for charging devices. They offered breakfast but the quality of the food and the service at breakfast was terrible. I think the place has potential but needs to make lots of improvements.

Our basic necessity was not met: no hot water. Stayed for almost 2 weeks and we were never able to shower comfortably with hot water. Asked for late check out (2 hours) and we were denied. Breakfast is horrible. Eggs are artificial, ham is cold; service is mediocre. We are from this area in PR and we will NOT stay in this hotel ever again. We were NOT comfortable; we did not enjoy our stay at all. This was just a step above of camping.

Nos tocó en el primer piso, aguantamos una noche ahí. Se dejó el letrero solicitando la limpieza y no se realizaron las camas por que en una de ellas había un peluche, nos dejaron una nota que no se podía por qué habían demasiados artículos personales y solo había un peluche encima de la almohada. No sabíamos cómo poder ver TV y llegaron del front Desk a configurarlo. Segunda noche,no podíamos con el olor a humedad . Nos movieron de habitación y esa estaba en mejores condiciones . En la mañana dejamos el letrero solicitando limpieza por que necesitábamos toallas alrededor de las 9:00 am, cuando llegamos en la tarde hay una chica de limpieza muy amable que nos indicó que la habitación no estaba en la lista . Después llegó una dama , que al parecer era la supervisora y nos indica que ya era la hora de salida de las chicas de la limpieza que iba a verificar que se podía hacer . Nos fuimos a la piscina y cuando llegamos a la habitación se habían llevado las toallas mojadas y habían dejado limpias . No se realizó nada más de limpieza en la habitación . Cuando nos hicieron el cambio de habitación, me indicaron que pasarían nuevamente a configurar el TV y nunca pasaron . En la ducha no salía el agua caliente , pero ya no queríamos seguir cambiando todas nuestras pertenencias a otra habitación . En lo demás desayuno básico , bien . Piscina bien .

Many negative issues with this hotel: 1. No hot water, just luke warm. I complained several times but to no avail. 2. Only one plug in entire room. Had to ask for extension cord. They did provide one. 3. Breakfast is mediocre. Eggs are soggy and there's no variety. Stayed for 10 days; could not eat there after Day 2. 4. TV remote: very difficult to figure out. No instructions. After informing them, they had to "train" me on how to navigate the tv. 5. Walls are paper thin. You can hear next door neighbors (conversations, tv, kids, snoring, etc) Positive issues: 1. Staff is friendly 2. Seems hotel has been renovated somewhat but still needs some more basic updates. For one night it is fine, but for more than that I would not stay again. I will be going to another hotel when I'm in Arecibo again, which is often.

This is the only hotel/motel I have ever stayed at that did not have a window in the room. The breakfast was subpar, the walls were paper thin so you could hear everything and the bed was very soft. On the plus side, the staff were very nice and helpful.

We had an interior room, no windows. Just a door to the hallway and still we could hear everything from other rooms and the road. The queen bed was a queen mattress on a full box spring so the edges had no support and basically couldn't be used. There was one outlet in the room that we could access. The fridge was plugged in there so essentially there was one place to plug in our items and this meant we couldn't use the lamp in the room, only the overhead light. There was one spot to plug in the bathroom but it was also the light switch. There was no place to rest anything while using it. I did try bringing a chair over which worked ok but it turns out the outlet didn't work anyway. We didn't pay a lot for the room but still I didn't think it was worth it. I will say that the front desk was very kind and helpful.
