When chucking a sickie becomes way too simple, it's time to abandon the corporate treadmill and say hello to Arhavi!

The country's capital, Ankara, can be found roughly 740 kilometres to the west of Arhavi.

There is a range of natural attractions surrounding Arhavi. Why not make your way 50 kilometres to Palovit Falls? Alternatively, admire nature's artwork at Karagöl Sahara National Park, 35 kilometres away.

Don't forget to go to Twin Bridge to see if anything catches your eye.

Findikli is 14 kilometres to the southwest and worth a day trip. After more ideas? Hopa, 20 kilometres to the north of Arhavi, should be on your itinerary.

Whether it's for a spot of shopping or to take in the sights, locals and visitors alike often make their way to Batumi, 45 kilometres to the northeast. Batumi Beach, Batumi University and Europe Square are all within a stone's throw. That said, you wouldn't want to miss out on the Port of Batumi and Batumi Dolphinarium either.
