Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
We didn't end up staying because the property closed early and couldn't check us in. It was advertised as closing at 9 PM but on the day of the reservation, with 2 minutes of warning, the property told us they were closed at 8. We got there at 8:30 and no one was around, so we were stranded. We ended up getting another hotel that night, and the property refused to grant any partial refund (under the no-show clause) despite violating the conditions of the booking.

Good Stopover
Good basic hotel. Friendly staff, hotel in need of a little updating and tlc. Says free parking on Hotels.com site and free onsite parking. Not true. Only parking is on road (very limited) or payable safe garage across the road €10. Only 15-20 walk to major sites so although not in centre of town, walkable
Conveniently located - just a bridge across to the city center, in the old part of the city. No parking but it was easy to find one around. Wonderfully helpful staff - full of knowledge of the region. Comfortable bed. Surprisingly (narrow streets) quiet at night… Our friends decided to stay one night longer - we’ll do it during the next visit.
Furniture was old and not really comfortable. Room was rather small. Breakfast was somewhat limited. Not many restaurants in the area but one nearby (St. Pierre) was very good. Parking was on the street but not always handy. They need a light above the entrance door that is on until 11pm because you need to see the code box to get in after 8:30pm. Pretty easy walk over the bridge to the old city.
Very pleasant hotel within easy walking distance of the main town and also just by the river. Staff were great and very accommodating. Also it was easy to park the car for free nearby.
Location was also fantastic to get into the Camargue and into Provence.
We were not sure what to expect of a 2-star hotel but were delighted with what we found! Excellent value and ideal location just across the bridge from the old town. We managed to find free on-street parking close to the hotel without any difficulty. Excellent breakfasts but no facilities for making hot drinks in the bedrooms.
Good value and the standard of comfort was acceptable. Air con was and essential in the summer. Need to take a taxi if you are coming from the station.
We had a car so I wanted a place with parking. This was perfect with plenty of free safe street parking and a 10 minute walk across the Bridge into Arles.
Small but adequate room
Breakfast at 9 euros was a deal
Great jumping off point to the rest of Provence at a low price
Loved location across ridge from old town and closes to grocery. Enjoyed wine and cheese on roof. All rooms different so heck you like the beds and set up.
We went there at noon, and parking in the neighborhood was easy. The owner is very nice. Our room is beautiful and comfortable. Walking to the main area is easy. We like this hotel very much.
We enjoyed our short stay in this small hotel immensely. I think it was a family-run business and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Our only minor irritation was that our room was quite small - not much room for two large suitcases. The location is convenient for a short walk across the bridge into the old town of Arles and is in a quiet residential area close to the river.

Handy for city centre
Very handy for access to the centre of Arles and although there was no hotel car park it was easy to park on the street. Good breakfast.
Arles is a magical mix of French, edge of Provence -glitz and Catalonian landscape and traditions. With an active bullfighting ring and a nod to horsemanship over brutality, it is an inspirational town. From the vestiges of Van Gogh's impact to an ongoing salute to current artists, and the historic hill-topping stoney walkways, there is a decent amount for tourists and historians to take in. Pretty fair cafe life as well.
They were very understanding when we had made a mistake in our booking and omitted our 7 year old daughter. They didn't have any other rooms available but said if we wanted we could all share the double bed, which was a large queen size so more than adequate.
It is not a location you would be likely to choose, but it is a short walk across the bridge and you are in the center of the old town. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was good. The hotel and breakfast were a good value for the price. The elevator was appreciated.
