French farmhouse style gite set in the tranquil village of Arne comprising of open plan lounge/kitchen diner with stairs leading to 1 twin and 1 double bedroom and shower room with WC and hand basin. Outside Large above ground swimming pool and patio area with garden furniture for alfresco dining. Whatever you require from your french holiday experience is here, furnished throughout with comfortable furniture and original oak beams, waiting for you to enjoy. We welcome our guests all year round. In the summer the pool and patio including B.B.Q has all day sunshine. In winter the gite has a wood burning stove to keep you warm after a hard day skiing on the slopes.

Whatever you want from a french gite holiday, be it walking, cycling, skiing or White water rafting, all these facilities are on your door step.

A peaceful and secluded spot
This is a lovely base from which to explore the Pyrenees (around 1/2 hour to 1 hour’s drive). The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a very mellow time sitting on the patio watching the cows and the stars!

Stunning .
We enjoyed a super stay at the property. Situated in unspoiled countryside, well equipped, spotlessly clean and very peaceful. Owners were friendly and polite with good local knowledge. Bonus of UK TV and small pool . Expertly renovated house with beautiful craftsman made furniture. Very close to mountains, swimming lakes, pretty villages and a short run to Northern Spain. Enjoy the wonderful , unpolluted night sky whilst sipping a glass of wine on the terrace. If you like to travel, Toulouse, Agen, Andorra, Carcassonne, Biarritz and Perpignan are all possibilities.

We highly recommend this property. Fantastic rural location which is quiet and peaceful.
We had an amazing stay. Paul and Zoe gave us a warm welcome. The gite is very nicely furnished, very clean and extremely well equipped. We were able to ecsape and relax in this tranquil setting and our children loved the space they had to play and the pool. During our stay we were able to get into the Pyrenees, visit Lourdes and take the Airbus tour in Toulouse. The nearest town, Lannemezan, is only a 15 minute drive and it has everything you need. We can not recommend this gite highly enough.

Lovely tidy property in a beautifully peaceful area
We had a lovely week here; Paul, Zoe and little Tilly were really friendly and relaxed. The couple have put an awful lot of hard work and quality workmanship into the place and it showed. We wanted somewhere to relax, cycle and sight see - all of these we were able to do. Paul and Zoe's knowledge of the area and suggested cycle routes were very helpful. We even managed a trip across the border to Spain for lunch - as you do! The only downside was the weather which wasn't as sunny as we had hoped for but we still managed to use the pool; just a shame we couldn't have used it more because of the weather. However, the fact that the gite was so warm and comfortable, as was Paul and Zoe's hospitality, made a big impression and added to our stay. The gite had everything we needed to enjoy our week away. Its also a really good location to look at the stars on a clear warm evening with the obligatory glass of French red!

Beautiful incredibly clean gite. Easy access to Pyrenees. Great base for a family holiday. Well equipped and with a pool to pop into when it gets too hot. Wonderful peace and quiet.

Great Gite for couples or families
We really enjoyed our stay in May/June this year. The Gite is in a beautiful rural location with farmland surrounding. The perfect location for a quiet break. Paul and Zoe were great hosts and very knowledgeable of the local area. The Gite is very comfortable and well equipped. We would definitely recommend to others, and stay again if we are ever in the area.

Merci Zoé et Paul pour leur accueil ! Présents en toute discrétion. Un gîte complet, au calme, et une piscine plus qu'appréciée! A savoir: Les premiers commerce (boulangerie) sont a 15km, il faut anticiper si on ne veut pas bouger en voiture chaque jour. Mais c'est aussi ce qui fait le charme du gite, au milieu de rien! Merci encore!

Accueil chaleureux, logement propre spacieux et bien équipé. Plein de charme. Escalier menant à l’étage plutôt abrupt et couchage grand lit très ferme. Moi ça me convient l me dis c’est à savoir. Seul bémol les toilettes sont à l’étage dans la salle de bain. Le terrain devant est bien entretenu et il n’y a aucun vis à vis. Idéal pour se mettre au vert, merci

Un beau logis dans un lieu vert et au calme
Paul et Zoe ont été des hôtes charmants et disponibles pendant cette quinzaine. La maison est propre, très bien entretenue et entourée de verdure. Les conditions de logement étaient parfaites. La piscine était la bienvenue les jours de chaleur. Enfin, Arné est parfaitement bien située pour sillonner la région (randonnée et principaux sites à visiter). Bref, nous recommandons le lieu pour visiter la region.

Awesome stay in Arné
We spent a very good time at Zoe and Paul's place. They welcomed us warmly and looked after us discretely during our stay with a great sense of hospitality. The place is beautiful, peaceful and well organized. Quiet nights, fun days (in the pool with the kids on hot days and visiting around differents sites in Hautes-Pyrénées the rest of the time). Our 3 week vacation was a success. We highly recommend and would love to come back. And if you want a special souvenir, Paul makes beautiful wood craft. We couldn't leave without a few pieces!

Séjour extraordinaire
Accueil chaleureux de la part de Paul et Zoe. Discrets, ils anticipent toujours vos besoins, que ce soit par le nettoyage de la piscine, ou encore la mise en place de la protection contre le soleil. Le gîte est une ancienne étable réaménagée en maison. Les poutres apparentes ainsi que les meubles en bois lui confère un cachet unique. Par ailleurs, il est également fonctionnel et très chaleureux. On s'y sent tout de suite bien et on n'a plus envie d'en partir.
