Cozy Log Cabin with Satellite TV! Just ten miles northwest of downtown Asheville, Deer Run invites you to sit a spell in the front porch rocking chairs and gaze out at the mountain horizon.

You'll appreciate the convenience of being able to cook your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen and eat-in while on vacation. In the evening, gather around the fire pit, tell tall tales, and look up at star-filled skies. This vacation rental is located in Asheville and is approximately 20 minutes driving distance to downtown.

• High Clearance Recommended (SUV/Truck/Crossover)
Please ensure your vehicle has sufficient clearance (i.e. SUV, Truck, or raised sedan). Low-clearance vehicles are not recommended.
• One of the unique aspects of Western North Carolina is a lack of property zoning, meaning there could be a trailer next to a million-dollar house! On the route to Deer Run, you will pass a rather unsightly junk yard, but be rest assured you're on the right track to a lovely destination!
• The owner of Deer Run lives in the same cabin community and is usually available should you require any assistance during your stay.
• Travel Insurance Highly Recommended
During the winter months, we highly recommend you consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home. No refunds shall be provided if you cannot access the home due to winter weather.

Large Time in Asheville's Small Deer Run Cabin

We had a wonderful time visiting our granddaughter and seeing the sights around the Asheville area. The cabin was mostly used for a place to sleep, and we enjoyed being out on our own, away from noisy hotel rooms.

47th Anniversary Weekend

It was everything as advertised and as the reviews stated. We had everything we needed. "Chef's Kitchen" might be a bit of a stretch but you can cook and bake just about anything your heart's desire. Outdoor grill and fire pit is a great amenity. Although we only had one night that was cool enough for us to have a fire in the pit. It is off the beaten path a little and was quiet, except for the wonderful sounds of nature (bullfrog in a nearby pond, birds, and a turkey). It might be a little challenging to find at night on arrival. After that, no problem night or day. It is an easy few minutes to downtown Asheville. The weekend flew by too quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will certainly stay there again!

Perfect Honeymoon Spot

Great stay! Lovely, comfy cabin only about 20 minutes from downtown, the Biltmore, antiquing, and great food! I wouldn’t change anything about it other than maybe the pillows in the cabin which weren’t very comfortable.

Perfect R and R!

I had a lovely time while staying at Deer Run! It was a very cozy and comfortable cabin, just as described. It was in a quiet setting surrounded by beautiful woods which allowed for great rest and relaxation to come back to after visiting my brother in downtown Asheville. Anytime I go to visit, I'll be staying at Deer Run!

Cozy cabin for a couple's getaway

Great, clean and cozy cabin for a weekend getaway. About 15-20 minutes from Biltmore, downtown Asheville and yummy restaurants. There was a small hiccup with the wifi password (the owner didn't update the property manager with the new password) and the hot water heater is on the smaller side, so keep that in mind if someone needs to shower after you. Even with this, I recommend Deer Run and would book again if we're back in the area.
