This is our 2nd stay at this hotel this year. This hotel is being renovated and with this latest visit, the construction has expanded to almost the whole hotel. It was loud during construction hours. Overall, we come back to this hotel because of its location. We will probably come back once the renovations are all done.

Even though the property is under major construction, our brand new room was excellent. The reception area was accessible and we had over and above accommodation for a mix up in our reservation. We were very satisfied with the outcome.

Issue at check in due to renovations, but quickly resolved by staff. A lot of work going on, but staff doing an excellent job at ensuring a pleasant visit by all patrons. Highly recommend.

Surprisingly good stay at the Scenic Hotel
The hotel is under major construction. But once we walked inside, one could hardly tell there was construction going on! The hotel was clean, the free fill breakfast was a nice touch, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The best part-walking distance to Biltmore Village.

Well I did not know it was undergoing a full renovation until I got there but I was still willing to give it a try. Also the pictures are not real they are what it is supposed to look like when it is done! We got a newly remodeled room which looked nice and was quiet but some of the outlets didn't work, the faucet handle for the hand held shower head did not work because it was missing a screw so all we had was rain shower head, no vent in the bathroom, and you had to prop the bathroom door open to get rid of steam. The piol area was nice but the hours were supposed to be 7a - 9p but it would not unlock until 8a so you couldn't get in. And lastly the staff were very dismissive and acted like we were an annoyance. This will end up looking nice but I don't know about the rest. I was not impressed. Sorry!

Hotel amenities advertised, such as bar and fitness center, was closed due to construction! This was a decision factor for us! Staff was young and not very friendly or concerned with our inconvenience. Power went out and we were trapped in the elevator for 10-15 minutes, in which the staff was not concerned, nor did they bother to follow up and check on us. Construction on the floor above us started at 8:30 a.m. on a Saturday. The bed was very comfortable and great pillows!

The only reason I gave 4 stars for conditions and facilitates was because they were doing renovations and we were unable to access certain areas, otherwise great place to stay, room was excellent. We had a door closing off the extra space with a pull-out sofa, TV, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Perfect for the 3 of us to have some privacy. Hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, breads, cereal and oatmeal. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. However, the hotel is under renovations (which was only made aware to us at check-in) and the noise level between 8 am and 7 pm is LOUD! You will also need to be prepared to dodge your way around construction deliveries and debris. There is no food/beverage service after breakfast. The breakfast was almost the same each morning. When staying an entire week, it would have been nice to have some variety. In all fairness, the staff offered to find us another room, but since we had been on the road for 7 hours, we just wanted to settle in. I would have thought they would have offered a room discount because we did not receive the full advertised amenities, but when I asked, they would not consider it.

They had construction going in and there wasnt any type of notification until we arrived. There was limited parking and a prime spot was taken ip with a port o potty. The construction noise was so load.
