First - I’ve wanted to stay here since this property became the atomic motel! So this was exciting for me. There’s no AC here which was something new for me for staying anywhere, and the bathrooms could definitely use a remodel but other than that this was a great stay. The breakfast situation was actually pretty good as well. My only real gripe - One of the employees did say to another employee that she had to clock out to avoid over time but looked like she was still working - which is a huge red flag to me as I’m wondering why the higher ups aren’t stepping in to ensure things are done if they won’t pay over time wages. I understand it’s annoying to pay more for labor but you have to pay people for their time. It’s that simple…. I’m not sure I will be back but I did enjoy my short stay here.

Clean and affordable
This unassuming motel with a cute early sixties vibe is right off the Astoria-Megler Bridge. The room was simple yet very clean and comfortable. The motel provided a list of local eateries with CR codes, and 3 restaurants were literally next door. We were not traveling with a pet, but it is pet friendly. Would stay here again.

The location is right on the waterfront by the bridge. It’s an easy 5 minute drive to the city center where you have many choices for food and entertainment. Convenient Pig ‘n Pancake restaurant next door for breakfast.

A great place for staying two nights, we were able to mostly walk to places we wanted to see. The parking was a little tight, I have a small car but there were lots of trucks that would block you in if they parked a certain way. Hazard of the type of motel I guess? Overall would stay again though!
