Rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds and excellent shower facilities. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a great view of the Acropolis from the rooftop where breakfast is served. There is also a fully stocked bar up there however, it is no longer utilized which was such a shame as drinks in the evening with the Acropolis view would have been a great addition to this experience.
Our stay at AD hotel was great. We found the location to be wonderful. The breakfast was lovely. We received a great dinner recommendation and had a wonderful time.
Hotel AD is continently located next to the acropolis. Very easy to get to from the airport. Take the train from the airport to Syntagma station, transfer to the red line (heading towards Ellinko) get out at the first stop (Akropolis) exit to the right, go up the stairs, keep going straight out of the subway and the hotel is 20 meters on your right. Very easy. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast has a very large selection of options. The breakfast terrace has a view of the acropolis. We booked a Viator walking tour of the acropolis and the meeting place to begin the tour was 10 meters from the hotel. This place is in a good neighborhood with plenty of restaurant options.
Fantastic location, gorgeous room with balcony and view of the Acropolis, Practically on top of the Acropois Metro station. Super friendly staff, good breakfast. Shopping and walking all around the area. Easy metro access to the rest of the city. In short the perfect hotel for a visit to Athens.
Will definitely be back!
i can’t say enough good things about this hotel. the stay were amazing, the location perfect right beside the acropolis and plaka. rooftop that allows you to have the perfect view of the acropolis both during breakfast and night. i’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking to be right in the heart of athens.
This is an awesome place in all aspects of a luxury suite.
Location, modern room amenities, the people, the service and the morning breakfast and coffee bar. Hospitality is unmatched here. I read all the reviews and this place was the best and all reviews were true. From the time we arrived early after a cruise about 10am, our room was ready within the hour about 11 am. And they said check out the 6th floor breakfast and coffee bar , it was still going on. the staff is just incredible friendly accommodating. The coffees are better than Starbucks and all included all you can drink during breakfast. and the view of the Acropolis and the Parthenon is just incredible. We met the owner and family and everyone is very sweet and friendly. We spent one night and a lot of things in walking distance. Walk to the Parthenon and restaurants and shops right outside the door. Hop on and hop off bus close by and check out the beaches on the blue line with in a 45 min bus ride. The room was comfy and the shower excellent! Book it you will love it. Would have stayed longer but we were on our way home after a cruise.
This hotel was in the perfect location to walk to Acropolis and the Acropolis museum (literally across the street). The staff are so kind, and breakfast with a view of the acropolis from the rooftop was a fantastic experience. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. I would stay here again.
Very nice and friendly hotel, very well located. Rooms are clean, well-appointed and serviced. An excellent breakfast buffet is served on the 6th-floor terrace with a view of the Acropolis.
Fantastic location! Great boutique hotel. Fabulous breakfast served with the view of the Acropolis. Easy walk to the Acropolis and Acropolis museum with a ton of restaurants around. The Acropolis terrace room is great with a huge balcony with view of Acropolis.
We absolutely loved our stay AD luxury rooms and suites. The location was great. Walkable to tons of restaurants and shopping. It’s also right off the train line. The roof top has an incredible view of the acropolis. They serve breakfast each more up on the roof top and it’s so good. The staff were amazing. It’s quite the family business. I’d definitely stay here again when back in Athens. The only thing we missed having was a swimming pool, but the ocean isn’t far and they helped us enjoy a day at the beach!
Staff was very sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend for a night or two - conveniently located super close to the acropolis museum, shops, and restaurants.
