My spouse and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and unfortunately, this hotel ruined what was supposed to be a special time for us. While check-in went smoothly, the issues started piling up soon after. For starters, they only provide one complimentary water bottle and expect you to refill it downstairs—no additional bottles allowed. On top of that, there were no washcloths, and if you needed an extra towel, you had to pay for it! It's absurd to be nickel-and-dimed like this. The rooms, while small, were decently kept, but it’s clear that this place is cutting corners wherever possible. They even use a card system to operate electricity in the room, which just feels like another way to save money on their end rather than enhance your stay. The worst part was the rude and dismissive staff. We tried to explain that this was our honeymoon, hoping for a little understanding, but they had no empathy whatsoever. Management actually told us, “If you wanted everyday cleaning, you should have booked a 5-star hotel. If you don’t like our policy, find another place to stay.” How unprofessional and inconsiderate! To add insult to injury, on our third day, they refused to give us new towels, despite their own policy stating towels would be replaced every two days. On the day of checkout, they even turned off the power in our room! We were never rude to the staff or management, despite what they claimed, and it’s shocking how poorly we were treated. Avoid this place at all cost

I love this place. Very nice, good location, very clean and quiet. Good staff too. We met up with friends later on the week and had to switch to another hotel that was twice the price. That other hotel had problems with the room and was not worth double the price. So we went back to Magenta!

Cute small hotel located about a 15-20 minute walk from Plaka. Very convenient to get to the major excursions like Acropolis. Great restaurants and bars nearby like M.S Garden Rooftop, Stone (great sunset and view of Acropolis). The hotel was very nice, they had unlimited supply of fresh water, coffee, and if you ask they have an iron you can borrow.
