Very average hotel in serious need of an update. Old and dingy. The suite which was huge contained an awfully uncomfortable Murphy bed. Bedding in general was awful. WiFi didn’t work. The staff at the front desk were friendly and very nice but over the phone from the room my requested service was completely ignored. Room service options are poor and were delivered cold in a paper bag with plastic utensils. I would never stay here again. Very disappointing.

Beds were very comfy! Unfortunately the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped for. There were folks in the hallway talking, and didn’t stop until after 1 am. This was not what I expected after a long day of traveling. Inconvenient from the international terminal and poor signage.

International travelers BEWARE! I chose to stay at the Marriott Gateway for the convenience of being located at one of the skytrain stops. We needed a room for one night between flights and Marriotts always seem to be a safe bet. What I didn't realize was if you arrive in the International Terminal you have to take a shuttle bus to the domestic terminal to access the sky train to the hotel. Normally taking a shuttle between terminals is no big deal, but at Atlanta it is a 15 minute trip if the traffic isn't too bad. In the time it took us to take the shuttle, and then the sky train, we could have easily just taken a regular hotel shuttle. In a nutshell, the hotel itself was nice, a typical Marriott, and if you're flying domestically the skytrain is convenient. If you're flying Internationally it may be better to find a hotel that has a shuttle at the International terminal.

Enjoyed it.
I got one of the suites and it was very spacious, clean, and luxury! I got the room for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we had a great time. The only thing I was upset about is the pictures for the suites can be alittle misleading. I book the suite because I thought it would have a jacuzzi tub in it but it did not. 😔but other then that we enjoyed ourselves. The hotel was beautiful, the parking was easy and the staff was friendly.
