The hotel room was decent. The smell of mildew was strong in the room. Only one elevator worked and with 17 floors there was a wait. The front desk worker was quick to get us checked in so that was appreciated since we drove for most of the day. It wasn’t bad but there is some work that can be done to make it a better experience.

Although the breakfast was good, pantry staff looked unwelcoming. Also, crew don't smile as if they hate to work especially the lady cleaner with the trolley. Why do they look upset? And Only one elevator is working so we have to wait forever because we at 17th floor. 😂 And just as you go out of the hotel, it looks unsafe so be alert. But overall, i could say our hotel room is spacious for a family of 5.

Bel Hôtel, le personnel est très cordial et sympatique. Les déjeuners étaient bons mais de base. Cependant, ce fut bruyant dû à l'événement de musique africaine 2 soirs/nuits. Aussi les 2 ascenseurs étaient non fonctionnelles, nous devions monter et descendre 6 étages. Staff de sécurité rassurant sur place. Bien situé, tout près du métro et stationnement pour notre véhicule à 30$/nuit.

This was a horrible stay. First checking in took 45 minutes. There was one elevator working for a building that has 17 floor. On Saturday we were waiting 20 minutes for a elevator. Last i called down to the front desk a total of five time for wash clothes and towels. Two of those times the front desk hung up on me. This Saturday night around 6pm. We did not receive the wash clothes and towels. I woke Sunday morning and attempted one more try. I called the front desk and was told i would have to come down and get them myself. I went on downstairs because i understood the service at this hotel was a horrible and it was not going to get in better. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE EVER AGAIN.

The desk workers were great and helpful, Roderick and Malba. Walked in the light wasn’t working. Only one elevator worked. The breakfast staff would rush you out if we were sitting just talking and eating our breakfast. The staff turned the lights off while we was still sitting there eating. It’s not a place you want to stay with kids or handicap people. There is a $50 mandatory valet parking per night.

I arrived to the property about 5:15pm and didn’t get checked in until well after 7pm. Very unorganized, unprepared, disappointed and unsatisfied with this property overall check in process and was not offered any type of accommodations. No management was available to assist with all the issues upon check in. When leaving it took over 15 minutes for the elevator to come to the floor, stairs was not an option being in the 8th floor and having luggage.

Nightmare elevator situation
One working elevator for a hotel with 15+ floors is insane. We were on the 6th floor and had to take the stairs countless times along with what seemed to be half of the other hotel guests. We attempted to wait for the elevator a few times but after 30+ minutes and then to find the elevator too full to even squeeze in, we just stopped trying. The location was perfect distance to shows at the Mercedes Benz but the area was very run down and sketchy. The room had a broken door knob on the door between the living room area and bedroom, missing baseboards in the bathroom, but it was otherwise clean. The only plus was the very late night food trucks right out front on the street and the valet workers were amazing.

Business Trip to Georgia World Confernce Center.
Positives - good room size, staff nice and helpful, location relative to conference, bars and restuarants, hotel security. Negatives - room maintenance (cleanliness, damaged entrance door, damaged bedroom door, wall mounted shampoo dispensor, slight smell, only one elevator working), LOTS of homeless people immediately outside of hotel (very unsafe once outside)

It's a very old hotel and one of the two lobby elevators is out of service -- NOT the deal breaker that so many reviewers are complaining about. I didn't find one other single thing wrong about the place. Well, actually, there was no clock in the suite. But again, not a deal breaker. The suite was very clean, quiet, the amenities in the suite were perfect. The bed was awesome and very comfortable. The three desk guys I met were were absolutely charming and handled everything about check-in, check-out, etc with attentiveness and skill. Kudos especially to Allen for his kindness and expert multitasking abilities.

1. The room had a musky aroma. 2. Found a trail of ants along the bedroom wall. 3. Fridge and microwave were somewhat dirty. Could use some disinfectant cleaning. 4. Beds were uncomfortable. 5. The staff was wonderful. Night Supervisor was very professional and the Valet Supervisor and his team were excellent.

The front desk staff was especially helpful handling an issue with an Expedia reservation (that was not their fault). They made sure that we were well taken care of. They were helpful with explaining how to use public transportation. The hotel was quiet and just what we needed!
