The location of the hotel in reference to Spelman College was excellent. Valet parking staff was very nice as well.

Hallways and elevators were tight. Business center and pantry are up several steps and so inaccessible to a wheelchair. Room was spacious, albeit plain. Air conditioning couldn't keep up with the heat.

When I tell yall this hotel stay was borderline deplorable. We check in, the man at the front desk tells me it’s $40 to park with them for our entire stay because of how I booked. Despite him standing next to a sign that says $40 daily for valet parking. He says there’s a $10 incidentals fee but it will be returned and that in total at the end of our trip it’ll only be $40 for the whole weekend of parking. I triple checked. The service was so slow we waited 45 minutes for my car at one point. At the end of our stay I was charged $157 for parking. There’s 3 elevators, only two worked in this whole 11 story building for our entire stay. They’re hardly wide enough for two people to stand shoulder to shoulder once inside. Our room was HOT and DAMP we learned that after about an hour of the AC blowing it would blow hot air after regardless of the settings. Multiple times during our stay different people tried getting in our room. Random people knocked and tried the handle. We had to sprint naked to tell people no thanks. People left all kinds of strollers and luggage carts in the hall way. I use a cane to walk and this made navigating the hotel difficult. The breakfast was mid at best. The area to navigate is not wheelchair or walker friendly. It’s very cramped and the selection left a lot to be desired. I was excited to stay here because of how accessible it was to other places in downtown. I was also excited because this is an early 1900s building… it had no charm.

I had a short stay but everything was great. My only suggestion is to be patient regarding parking. I chose not to valet & walked 1/2 a block to a public lot.
