Not the best. Would not stay here again.
When we got there we were told we had to pay PEF NIGHT for parking. The booking info did not say but check in and check out was easy. The breakfast the first day was mediocre at best and it got worse the longer we stayed. By the last day it was cold and awful. The coffee even had grounds in it! Then when we left the hotel I notice I had a huge scratch on my vehicle and when I called they said that they couldnt do anything about it because we had already left the property and their insurance didn't cover it. However, I told them paying $165 for parking, I'd think my vehicle would be safe so at the end of the day they did offer me a refund. So I guess I'll see in the next few days if I can actually get it back.

I consider Hyatt a higher-end hotel chain based on my previous experiences. Customer service certainly met my expectations at this hotel, but little else did. Our room needed some serious repairs. The mattresses weren't comfortable. The bathroom sink sprayed water forcefully everywhere. There was a persistent wet spot on the floor in the middle of the bedroom. Worst of all was that the air conditioning in our room died during our stay. The front desk staff could only offer us a box fan to help, but that did next to nothing as this was Atlanta in the summer. The only pro is the location, which is a block from the Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola, and within a short walk of many of Atlanta's major tourist stops. If location is your primary concern, and you're looking for an efficiency-suite type hotel, then this may fit your needs. But overall, the rooms need a lot of TLC to bring this hotel up to the standards I expect from a Hyatt.

$55 A Night Parking and Bad Neighborhood
Beware you will be charged $55 a night to park on site. They hide it in the small print buried deep in their website. You can park for free in the three spots in front of the building on the street but the property is surrounded by homeless encampments. This is a bad part of town. Security and police have to patrol every building in the area. There is some sort of night club next to the hotel that blasts music until 3pm every night. The music is loud enough to clearly hear it in your room. Ruined what was supposed to be a fun family trip.

The hotel staff were very friendly accommodating to my first time staying in Atlanta. The breakfast selections and rotation were nice to see for my 4-day, 3-night stay so I didn't feel I was eating the same meal each morning. The rooms were clean and spacious for our stay. Just be aware they have a master electricity switch you need to flip on next to the main door to get the room working. Also note that your room card is used for more than just your room. You'll need it to use the elevator, gain access to the pool, gym, and 1st floor bathrooms, as well as the 2nd sliding door for the main entrance. While this can be annoying at first, it's there for your safety and piece of mind. The only thing I wasn't expecting was the fee for valet parking at the hotel. My family and I drove down from NY to visit Atlanta. Considering this is a city location, I was surprised at first. The Valet company is separate from the hotel. Make sure you read the pricing rules and what to expect for costs. Other local over night parking is similar in price but may not be as secure as the hotel valet is. The valets were pleasant and very accommodating to help get our car parked or brought out as we needed.

Truly enjoyed my stay! There was a very professional and kind staff that provided optimal services. My room was very clean and they provide complimentary breakfast. I gave it a four star rating only because parking costs $55.00. However I highly recommend this hotel. Its wonderful!

We got a great rate and were looking for a hotel close to State Farm Arena. The lack of parking was a real negative for us. You either valet for $55 or you have to park in a nearby garage. If you have a lot of bags with you that would definitely be a downside. Our room had quite a few ladybugs crawling around in it and our toilet wasn't super clean. The staff were friendly and otherwise it was fine.
