I was shocked!
Name association is important! This being a Hyatt Place is why we chose it. The first room had small bugs crawling near our heads, the staff changed the rooms with no problem. The second room didn’t have a place for our clothes (we had to keep them in bags), each time the staff cleaned our room there were less and less towels. They did not replace toiletries like hand soap so we bought it own. We found other people’s clothes behind the beds, so the rooms we’re hardly clean. The room had a peculiar smell and the hallway smelled like several people were smoking.

You get what you pay for!
Check in is supposed to be 3:00,we arrived at 3:20 and room wasn’t done. The young at check in said she would let us know when the room would be ready and unfortunately guest had to stay in rooms that they had booked. We waited until about 4:10 and the room still wasn’t ready. At that time the my offered us a complimentary drink and said that we would stay in a different than what we had originally booked. We went ahead and took the room because it was ready and available. The room appeared to be in decent condition however we did notice a few gnats. The next morning when I woke up I saw sugar ant crawling on my hand. There were also ants around the sink area and on the nightstand. My husband attempted to make him a cup of coffee and the coffee maker was not clean. Unfortunately I wasn’t happy with our stay because of these things,but you get what you pay for sadly.

Will be staying again when I am back in ATL. The hotel right opposite Michaels, Five Below, Burlington and more, you can literally walk across the street. And it’s next to Ulta Beauty and other stores and restaurants. The staff are friendly and attentive. Room service is good and the ladies are super sweet. Parking is free. The gym is small but you can get a good sweat in if you want to. Will stay again!

I recently stayed with my family, and unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. While the location was convenient and the staff were generally friendly, we encountered several issues that significantly impacted our stay. In one of the rooms, the shower tub was clogged, making it nearly impossible to use without standing in a pool of water. This caused considerable inconvenience for our family, especially for the kids during morning hours. Even though I had reported the issue to the hotel, they never fixed it. Additionally, the other room had an ant infestation, with numerous ants crawling across the floor. It was not only unsettling but also raised concerns about cleanliness and pest control. While the hotel has potential, these maintenance and cleanliness issues need to be addressed for a more comfortable stay. I hope they can improve these aspects for future guests.

Staff was great. The bar/restaurant area was lacking, and the elevators were undergoing maintenance, though that's not really the hotel's fault. Room was recently updated, large, very clean. The price was very reasonable, but part of the compromise is there aren't any toiletries available except for in the shower. Shower was amazing, by the way.

We decided to stay at the Hyatt place because it was close to the amphitheater for the show we were attending. The room was clean. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The only reason I did not give it. Five stars was because they were understaffed. The staff that was working was doing a great job and were working very hard, but they were overwhelmed and needed help.

Check in took a long time as there was only one person working the desk at peak check in times. I was assigned a room and when my husband and I walked in, there was another woman already in the room who was actively changing clothes. I immediately told the front desk and they didn’t seem bothered or concerned. Simply assigned a new room and sent us on our way. When I asked if anything would be done to compensate the other woman who was also inconvenienced, the staff waved me away as the phone was ringing. Also, only one elevator was working and it was extremely slow. Sometimes taking 10-15 minutes to arrive. Overall, very poor experience.

A decent hotel for the night
When we checked in, our bathroom had a very strong urine smell. There was dried puddles of pee on the bathroom floor and hair all around the floor and toilet. The two guys at the desk came up with disinfectant and a mop to clean it up. There was only duvet covers on the bed, but no duvet inserts and no extra blankets in the room. Basically, it was like only having a top sheet to cover up with.We were cold all night even with the AC turned up. Also, there was light coming in from the large cracks underneath the door and around the shade on the window. Luckily, we only stayed one night because we didnt get much sleep. We have stayed at this hotel many, many times over the last 10 years, but its not what it used to be. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Its also in a convenient location. Breakfast was pretty good. I like that real plates and glasses are used instead of disposable. I wish they offered hot watef and coffee outside of breakfast hours like most other hotels.
