When I went to the first room given to me, I opened the door and was smacked in the face with the horrible odor of cat pee. It was so overwhelming and disgusting. On top of that, the entry door did not lock, so I immediately went down to have my room changed. The next room given to me was better, still had an odor of cats but not as bad as the first one. The room was not very clean, there was hair on the bathroom floor, a used wash cloth was still hanging on top of the shower curtain rod from the previous guest. I'm glad I was only there for 2 nights - would not recommend

The air in the room didnt work well. The living area was cool but the bedroom was hot. The bathroom tub had hairs in it and wasnt very clean. The curtains wouldnt close because the remote wouldn't work for them. We asked the front desk about it and he had no clue what we were talking about. The bed was really uncomfortable. The property outside was nice and beautiful though.

The hotel is outdated, our AC had a very strong smell of mold. I did notice it when we arrived but thought I would get used to it. After the second night it was hard to breathe. So we asked to change rooms but there were no other rooms available. They sent a person to try to clean the room, the lady noticed the strong smell and try to spray it with scented sprays that didn't help at all. Then they sent maintenance and they wanted to open the AC and try to fix it while we were there which wasn't the best. They said the smell was because the Ac was too cold (it was on 76, it's a normal temperature) and shouldn't be in the cooling mode, should be in the dry mode with temperature over 83 (by that time I was like "what are you saying?"), which I thought it was very unprofessional because how come you book a hotel with AC and you can't use it? So we asked for full refund because we would have to get a last minute hotel that would cost more. After a lot of talking with the assistant manager, we could get a refund, and thats why I'm giving it 3 stars. Otherwise it would be 1. The breakfast was great.
