I did not like the fact that they had mold in their showers, and that might be the reason they have black tile in the shower, so people that are not affected by mold won't even notice!

The property was exceptionally well-appointed, and the staff were equally impressive. Their warm and friendly demeanor made us feel at ease. We would undoubtedly consider staying with Thompson again in the future.

Our check-in time was 3pm. Upon arrival we were told no rooms were ready. It was about 4pm when we were alerted that our room was ready. Normally this would not be a big deal but we needed to dress for a professional event, which was the purpose for our stay. The front desk clerk was not apologetic about the delay, was barely friendly, and nor was any accommodation offered for the delay in service. I love this hotel for ONLY the shower as the water pressure is fantastic. After this experience, I may not stay again

Restaurant was closed due to a special event. This outdoor restaurant on the 10th floor was the main reason we selected the hotel. After expressing our disappointment, The hotel made no effort to accommodate or compensate.

We stayed at the Thompson after staying at the Kimpton across the street several times because the rooftop bar looked like it had great views and atmosphere. Too bad they booked the rooftop out so no guests could enjoy it, so we walked across the street to the Kimpton rooftop. A waste of time and money to stay here.

Always a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, the dining options have changed with the closure of Dirty Rascals. We could not make a reservation at the new restaurant. There is no way to make a reservation on line, nor via telephone.
