I arrived at the Tropicana later than usual. The room I requested was not available but, I was given a nice room but with a cityview. I am use to Oceanfront. I went down to the lobby and told them I was not happy with the room. They searched and gave me a much better room with no problem or attitude. Very satisfied aas a regular customer. My lateness was due to an accident on the train tracks.

Hello- I booked a room by mistake through Expedia at this hotel and immediately called to cancel the room and was denied a refund. I understand the non-refundable policy, however I literally called minutes after pressing the button! It didn’t even hit my account yet and they denied my request to cancel the booking. I will NEVER intentionally book with Tropicana again and will make sure to tell all friends/family about this experience .

The bathrooms in the casino were immaculate. In our sleeping room it was badly stained and dirty. There was no dresser for clothes, it looks like a 1940's motel that hasn't been updated. Maybe we should have picked something besides the west tower but nothing else was available.

I enjoyed the restaurants that were inside the property. A little overpriced but it’s AC . We stood in the west tower I believe and it was extremely outdated . The towels seemed cruddy and had a bizarre odor ,the door to the bathroom was broken .The interior design was a freak show Beetlejuice black and white curtains with orange and gray walls hideous. Not very inviting . They charge you for parking with a $5.00 coupon so it ends up being 15.00 a night which should be complimentary if I’m staying at the property. Definitely will not be returning . My husband and I visited this same location 13 years ago and my has it changed down to the clientele very ghetto . We picked this hotel because we had a fabulous time and we stood on the Havana side and clearly that’s more updated . It’s unfortunate because I really wanted to enjoy my stay . The staff is very nice and helpful . But the crud in the room and bathroom was enough for me to decline a future stay . But I do hope in your future you remodel the rooms at least in west tower and correct housekeeping . Thank you
