In the heart of Oneroa Village with a large sunny deck stunning views

This beautifully renovated beach house ticks all the boxes for a superior island holiday.

Situated just above the beach and a few minutes walk from the village, this property has all the advantages of central positioning, but with the privacy and tranquillity of a secluded location.  It boasts sensational views from the generous deck out over Oneroa Bay - this is a very special spot!

The house is stylishly furnished and boasts spacious living & dining spaces inside & out. You enter the property via a sheltered courtyard, which has a BBQ & outdoor dining table.  The front door takes you into the open plan dining area, with the well-equipped kitchen to the right.  A couple of steps takes you up to the living area, which opens onto the huge front deck with stunning views of the bay.  This has a large outdoor dining table & chairs, and there are outdoor couches on the main deck - perfect for relaxing & enjoying the view!

Off the living room are the 2 bedrooms and the a bathroom.  The master bedroom opens onto the deck & has the same lovely views.  The third bedroom is off the dining area - it has 2 sets of bunks, one with a double bed on the bottom, and a sliding door can be used to separate the room in half.  There is also a second bathroom beside this, with the laundry.   

A 20 minute walk from the passenger ferry, and 10 minute walk down the local path to Oneroa beach, make this house a pedestrian’s dream. Should you want to explore further afield, regular buses leave from the village.  There is even a great cafe immediately at the top of the drive (which as well as being very convenient for coffee & brunch can also mean some morning noise).

Perfect Location

Our family had 3 year old twins in the group so staying in such a beautiful location within walking distance of the village of Oneroa was perfect. It was quiet with breathtaking views. Being Australians we love our coffee so although the house didn't have any coffee equipment there were ample coffee shops nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

This is an awesome vacation rental. The view is gorgeous and the outside entertaining area was huge. The location is excellent as you can walk up to the local shops for groceries and restaurants. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

The Ideal Location to Decompress

We are a family of four that came to Waiheke for a long weekend break. The location of the property is perfect: stunning views overlooking Oneroa beach, plus a 5 minute walk to the village and all it has to offer. Plenty of space, with big bedrooms and an amazing deck, on which we spent the best part of our stay - soaking up some autumn sun and admiring the view. Totally relaxing stay - we will definitely book again.

Overall we had an amazing stay as the home was beautiful with beautiful views and loved the convenience of the shops only 2 mins away. Great house for a family with kids as seperate wing for kids with bunks and adults can have the master with views. We had a car so we did some trips to other beaches like Palm but loved the centrality of Oneroa. 10/10 holiday.

Spacious house with stunning views in perfect location

This is a wonderful holiday house. It's so close to Oneroa village yet quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and it was stocked with the basics. The beds & pillows were comfortable and the driveway was easy to park in. We have teens and it felt very spacious. The view is hard to beat and we'd love to return some day.

The location and the views were great! Awesome place to relax. There are things that needed attention, i.e. plates, step edges for stairs inside the house and shower glass door and taps. But these are just minor things. Would love to go back sometime. Thank you Vrbo....we had a nice time!

Wonderful spot close to town, transportation and the beach. Feels secluded even though you are steps away from all of the shops and cafes. The views are amazing and the house has everything you need. Some amenities need upgrading: pillows are very thin and knives are dull. One disappointment was that we hired the house for 8 days but it was only stocked with essentials like toilet paper to last 3 at most. Overall a really lovely place.
