Because of train delays I wasn't sure if I would arrive at the hotel before reception closed. I phoned them to check and they were very helpful and sent me a door code for after hours access. In the event I was about 10 minutes late and someone was still there and gave me a very friendly welcome, which did a lot to alleviate the misery of a stressful journey! I really enjoyed my stay, staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast buffet excellent and room spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel is well-situated, a quick walk to the town centre and most of the sights. Would definitely recommend.

Dom Hotel in Augsburg suited our purposes perfectly for a one-night stay as part of a drive down the "Romantic Road." Modernized, high-design and quality accommodations. Very tidy and clean. We were fortunate to secure one of the few patio parking spots, which was an added plus. Hotel staff were helpful and courteous. Location is superb, very close to the cathedral (thus the name) and old city. Would certainly stay here again!

Hotel is very well situated to walk to the centre of Augsburg. Our room was a really good size, there were basic drinks free of charge in the mini bar & a very good breakfast buffet each day. Staff were pleasant & very helpful. There is a very good indoor pool.

We had a lovely stay at the Dom Hotel. We walked to all parts of town with no trouble, and particularly loved the nearby park. It is RIGHT near the cathedral. The room is beautiful and the breakfast is fabulous. Wish we had stayed longer!

Nice hotel in a good location to the old town.
Nice hotel with small courtyard for safely parking or motorcycles. Rooms had small balcony , but needed a bit of a spruce up. Rooms were clean , not overly modern and large.Bathroom was a good size too. Good location to walk to bars and restaurants and near the aldstadt area. Wasnt able to use the pool as it was closed early morning. Breakfast was continental style. Good coffee machines. Free mini bar in the room with water amd a couple pf beers

Dom Hotel surpassed our expectations in every way, it was clean, rooms were very spacious and catered to our every need, allowing us to be very comfortable. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend too anyone.

Wow! The hotel is beautiful and my room was absolutely adorable with amazing views of nearby old town. I delayed my stay in Augsburg just so I could stay here, and it was well worth the change. The staff was amazingly helpful and humored my poor German while being sure I understood everything. Delicious breakfast. The hotel is directly across from the Cathedral and the diocesan museum, which was amazing. Easy to walk everywhere I wanted to go. All in all, for an American traveler who is usually impressed with the places I stay in Europe, this place really stood out. Next time I want to stay much longer. Vielen Dank!!!!

No AC on (though advertised as available), so not great for sleeping in stuffy room, mosquitoes made opening a window not a good option for airflow. Would stay again, though a tad overpriced. Not crazy about glass bathroom…like some privacy when showering. Overall

Good hotel located on the Tram 2 route. Room facilities and bed good. Wifi good. Very good morning breakfast. Only negatives are 7 steps to enter the hotel and there is a lift but it does get to all room levels - we had 8 steps down to our room level
