I wanted to like this quaint inn. The first night, we went to the room which was a basement room, and attempted to go to the pool. The room key didn't work. There was a key pad but we were not told a code. We looked in our room to see if there was an information sheet with the pool code, but there was nothing. I guess it is on the back of the key card sleeve but we had not been told that. No idea it was there. We decided to skip the pool and go to the bar. They had hosted an event and were cleaning up. There were at least 4 people sitting in the bar. We went up to the bar and were told "I'm closed" by the back that was cashing out the register. It was exactly 10 pm. I noted the time for the future. We went back to our room not feeling welcomed. The next day, we went to Happy Hour. The Happy Hour menu stated "House beer and wine $4". My husband ordered the house red and I asked if a house rose was available. The bartender said yes. I asked if it was included in the Happy Hour price. She said yes. The bartenders switched and when we got our tab, the rose was $8 not $4. So we paid $12 more than we should have. Later, we were watching TV in our room. The remote stopped working. We had to unplug the TV from the wall to turn it off and replug it to turn it on. The heater/AC unit ran off and on all night, restarting every 5 minutes. I overheard the front desk tell a guest that asked about the bar that "It's like Rage! I leave at 11 but she pours as long as people pay!". Really???
