Enjoyable stay at nice hotel

We enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont Austin. We especially loved the pool area. It seemed like there was enough seating, especially during the weekdays. The service at the pool was pretty good, but it was harder to get service on Thursday afternoon which was also very busy with guests. Everyone working throughout the hotel was pleasant. The worst experience was during breakfast Tuesday. There were only 2-3 other tables but we waited at least 25 minutes for our food. The server only checked in once during that time. We had to take the food to go because we had an appointment. The hotel was close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. I would recommend the Fairmont.

Beautiful property Professional and courteous front desk staff. Rooms are nicely appointed with very comfortable beds. The wait staff at the pool deck was nearly nonexistent. We ordered drinks that were never delivered. The line at the bar was about 30 minutes.
