the price was good and the room was just fine, but the atmosphere from the moment I walked in was cold and unfriendly....what happened to hotels where they act like they are genuinely glad you are there? I asked the manager for an extra chair in my room because my sister was dropping by to visit and his attitude was not friendly at all...his first words were "we don't have extra chairs", although he eventually agreed for me to take a chair from the "empty" breakfast area. Also the breakfast was nothing... coffee was good though. Overall, my wife and I did not enjoy being there because there was no welcome attitude that I have found to be true at most hotels I have stayed at...

We stayed here for the first time and enjoyed it, the room felt and looked clean, staff was really friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed in many places around this area when coming down to Texas for competitions and this one by far has been our favorite.
