The unit is an open studio space with tall ceilings. There is a queen bed in the sleeping area, and a couch and a large TV in the sitting area. The studio has a kitchenette for your coffee, snacks, and drinks. The full bath includes a shower with a tiled bench and endless hot water, for those who want to take the time to unwind at the end of the day.

The place is a great fit for solo travelers and couples.

Guests access the unit from the alley where there is plenty of private parking. The unit has its own outdoor patio area.

We live in the front house, and while you may see us and our kids in the backyard we try to give our guests space!

Travis Heights is quintessential Austin! You are within walking distance to South Congress Boulevard and the array of local shops, restaurants, and bars that make Austin special. Easy biking distance to the hike and bike trails along Ladybird Lake and the Congress Avenue Bridge to see the bats.

The guest suite has central AC/heat, though the thermostat is shared/controlled by the apartment upstairs. There is a ceiling fan and portable heater for supplemental temperature controls.
