It lies 240 kilometres to the west of Accra, the capital of Ghana.

Take a step back to another era as you wander around Fort Saint Antony. This historical site has plenty of stories to tell.

Whether you'd like to learn more about the cultural and religious aspects of the area or just sit back and relax in the peaceful atmosphere, Old St James Methodist Church is the place to visit.

Butre and Dixcove are close to the centre of Akwidaa, 25 kilometres to the southeast of Axim. Why not go there and take a look?
