The room was large and very comfortable - very much like a cute cottage. Picnic tables outside of the chalet was a nice touch. We appreciated having access to coin-operated laundry facilities onsite. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They recommended the Ceilidh Gathering which was definitely a highlight of our trip. We would definitely consider staying here again.
The fall-themed décor outside of the office made it very welcoming.
The Baddeck Gathering Ceilidh that the staff recommended was fantastic!
We had a fabulous salad and sandwich at the Highwheeler Café in Baddeck. Everything is made in-house. Their Cuban sandwich made with fresh focaccia bread was amazing as was the salad with poppyseed dressing.
We loved this sign outside of the Highwheeler Café.

The location is convenient and walkable to various restaurants in the town. The property is relatively old so the plumbing system may not be as good as expected.

It was a lovely hotel, they accommodated a room switch which was due to taste rather than having anything to do with the room provided. Restaurant is lovely, as is the view. It's an older hotel but rooms were in good shape, clean and comfortable. Staff extremely friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Very quiet location with an amazing view. The Chalet we stayed in was spacious and very clean although a little dated. Staff were so friendly and the buffet breakfast was great. The property is about a 10-15 walk into Baddeck which is charming and has great restaurant options.

Great stay in a beautiful location. Only downside is that it's an older building and noise from upper units can be a bit much depending on who is up there. For 2 nights we had people above us who walked around forever, or so it felt.

Had a nice stay here. A bit dated, but was quiet and safe. Stunning views. Enjoyed the lounge where we played cards. We were never served/approached while there which would have been nice. Love how close it is to dining and shops in Baddeck.

Adequate accommodations

We arrived early but room not ready and no effort was made to prioritize room - toured the excellent Alexander Graham Bell museum and stopped for a drink at the freight shed (very nice) before returning at 2:00.. still not ready so did load of wash in antiquated but working washing machine for $5 and checked out advertised free bikes (too rusty and no brakes😜) Room was adequate with comfortable beds but smelled somewhat musty so opened both doors to enable air flow! When checking in… bill presented was inflated by $100 but corrected when questioned with a comment of “good eye!” Looked like nice restaurant but we did not partake in breakfast or dinner and left early to travel the Cabot Trail!

We loved the Silver Dart, kind of a throwback motel/lodge. The beds, pillows etc were very comfortable. Room was a good size with great views of the water and very clean. The Adirondack chairs on the lawn made it feels so homelike. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again, we were sad to leave.
